K.D. is anything but Tone deaf. Her voice is phenomenal. I never saw anyone feel Hallelujah the way she does when she sings it. It is utterly beautiful. I see it as the equalizer in her concerts. She gets transported to a calmer center. But the first song that pulled me in was decades ago on her movie Salmonberries. That enigmatic “Barefoot”. I fell in love with that song and K.D. Lang’s personality. I didn’t know how big she would become, and I will enjoy catching up and reconnecting. K.D. I love your style, and I especially love how you connect with your audience. And I too love Harmonizing. I love being your background to Hallelujah in my living room. Brava😍.

To sing live Heaven is a feat that so so many couldn’t do. It’s so much easier in a recording studio, that is pure talent. From country to jazz she touches all generes and does It so beautifully with tones that range from ‘suadente to powerful this gal does them all and makes it al seem so easy. The biggest icons on todays musical scene might command the youngsters whims but none of them not even Taylor Smith can equal her. I’m including here Barbra Streisand, Celine Dion, Beyoncé, Whitney Houston, J. Low, Tina Turner not even Aretha could change from Country to ballad to jazz so easily and do them all perfectly. Her voice is such a gift, a gift that she has learned to control it rendering any and every song easy for her to sing. That might not be the case but that is what comes over with every song she sings, her RESPECT for music comes over loud and clear together with her abundance of love for every single note she sings. ❤️

I have watched this in full 5 times and I believe there will be many more rounds. kd's voice is beautiful and her face is a big bonus. I like the way she brings the mic far away but her voice doesn't get softer but more beautiful. Hallelujah shows her gifted voice with varied tones. I can't munch on chips while watching this video. I can but choose not to because I will miss alot of beautiful facial expressions. She puts her soul into every song. And her normal speaking tone is sensual. Like the part about needing to sing a British song. Celine dion and Madonna made 40+ times what kd made in her career. But frankly their voices are not as good. Perhaps it's because their songs have mass appeal. There was no one like her and there will never be one after her. kd is special. I hope she will tour again. I love you, kd. 💜 You have made the world more beautiful with your voice.

Male Singer, Dwight Yokham, The big money grabbers, in Nashville, would not give them a chance. But they both had enormous success. Rightly so. Both changed styles of music, to whatever suited them. They are unique, gifted, with such special vocals. Blow you away. If Roy Orbison, choose KD, to Duet, with him, you know ur special. She got the big O. back in the recording Studio, as Dwight did with Buck Owens. Both went straight to No 1.And won an award. How Brilliant 'Sooo Nashville. Big Wigs, we're put right in their place.
