Hi Drew, greetings from Switzerland, I'm a complete newbie working with mixers and DAWs, I just received my XR18 a couple days ago and so far so good but only thanks to your videos. Your videos are absolutely perfect and are helping me a lot. Thanks very much.

I was waiting also I started out with an XR18, then i switched to an X32 full board & followed your 2 videos for using Reaper as my DAW With my X32, its working flawlessly, but if i ever break out my XR18, these are the 2 videos i'll watch again When i 1st started with my XR18, i used Alan Hamiltons tutorials for setting up Reaper as my DAW, worked flawlessly also, but its been awhile since ive used my XR18 cause im now on an X32, but im very happy to be a subscriber of your channel Drew, your very good at what you do THANK YOU 😊

Thank you very much for this helpful video. Instead of clicking each channel one by one, X-Air-Edit provides buttons on the In/Out > USB Returns page to set all channels to A/D [Off (Analog)] or USB [Chn 1-16] at once.

Great video. Any chance you can do a tutorial on how to record the USB (post fader) mix plugged into a phone to use as the audio source for video recordings? Thanks and God bless

Thanks Drew for walking through this! Great information. My band has done multi-track recording of live shows and I've brought in for virtual soundchecks and practicing my mixing. I noticed you did at a channel by channel level to switch to USB. I've always used the "Chn 1-16" button on the USB Returns page. I believe that's doing the same thing, correct? And then I just hit "Off (Analog)" once I'm done to flip all back to the analog inputs. One question I had was there any way to solo a channel and still get it through the main LR mix (not just the headphones)? If the band isn't available and I want to use a prior recorded live performance to dial in a channel and room, I've only been able to get the solo to work through the headphones. I'd only want the solo to work like this for a virtual soundcheck of course and not during Analog/live. but have never been able to figure that part out. Thanks!

Drew, Thanks for these tutorials. They have been super helpful. One question I can't seem to find any info on.....If I have 6 different Aux mixes for each individual in the band and then want to record to, let's say GarageBand recording all 16 tracks individually by switching to USB I then have no individual mix that I was using for show or rehearsal in the 6 aux sends. Leaving each musician only to hear the GarageBand mix. Probably an easy fix, I'm just too novice to figure it out. Thanks!

I just found your videos and they are excellent. Could you do one on using the Behringer XR 18 for zoom live streaming. That would be wonderfully helpful. Thanks.

Hey Drew, I was doing a virtual soundcheck with my x32 the other day. Not sure if I have a problem, but wanted to check with you, as you are the Guru!!! Had all my inputs with the gains set in the -18 range, tapped pre-fader. My issue, (maybe)is that all my Mix Busses seem to be wanting to clip, or are very close to clipping. Am I doing something wrong, or are the x32 preamps really strong? Is there a Mix Bus setting that I might have missed? Would appreciate any suggestions you might have to offer, Thanks!!

How are you getting the solo buttons to work in the software?

How many channel interface does one need for multi-track? It's sad they left off the aux 1/4 inch input jacks on the DL32 stagebox!!

Hi there. Thank you for such informative and nice video. Would you help me with a question a bit off the topic but still related to the xr18? Does it have true subgroups? I mean subgroups with processing capabilities that don't use the aux sends and some internal patching? Like being able to sum all the mix to 4-6 subgroups call it drums vocals, guitars, support tracks and still have the ability to make 6 independent monitor mixes? Thanks in advance!

Hello ing, I don't know if you can help me with this problem I have :(. What happens is that when I connect my everything but the problem is that when I send a virtual signal from Reaper to the console it only plays for about 3 seconds and the console stops receiving a signal but in Reaper it continues playing. The truth is I'm just getting into this world of digital and thanks to you I've learned a lot things :) and let's see if you can help me with this little problem and I thank you for always teaching other people like me who are just entering this world of audio!! Thank you!!

So, the xr18 has a Main output for nothing, we have 2 sacrifice 2 inputs for main output like 17-18 as a Master out if you want to insert a Limiter, eq, compressor etc 🙄... It was so hard to add the Main Out to the interface? I think no... I don't know the real reason behind this trouble 😢... And don't have also the control of the aux, so if we need to control a monitor and and insert a Feedback killer or eq we're f... Definitely Behringer need to improve all this errors to have a good mixer, this is my point of view as user
