Good question. Right now Plasma 6 isn't much different in functionality from Plasma 5 (kzbin.info/www/bejne/mGPaapqVgMaqnZI). I forgot to mention that in the video, but was focusing on interface changes only.

It is really smooth. I may post another video soon. You can install firefox from terminal, or Floorp, which is based on firefox. Both have scaling issues at the moment though.

For postmarketOS, I found Gnome Mobile to be currently the most functional.

Unfortunately I don't have the hardware to test it out right now, but I have read that others have used docking. I'll keep looking into it!

I had that issue too at first :( try reinstalling the latest edge channel version from the postmartketOS website, and see if recent updates fixed it for you.

Wish they ported to Xiaomi Poco F3, would definitely install it since custom roms are really bloated.

Unfortunately only a few devices are supported. You mentioned that custom roms are bloated. I find lineageos (without gapps) can be pretty slim: download.lineageos.org/devices/alioth/builds
