Thank you so much Katharyne, you have given me hope. As a new book publisher and author who has written many partial transcripts myself, I have leaned on AI to help me refine my transcripts into polished books that I am looking to publish on Amazon KDP,. It seems there are so many people out there warning against the use of AI for this purpose. I like you, am quite the "AI Evangelist," as well when it comes to book writing, and feel that if the end result is quality work regardless of how it comes to be that is all that should matter. I just wanted to say thank you, thank you, thank you, for being the light at the end of the very dark tunnel I found myself staring into this past week with so many negative videos that I have seen. Hey Katharyne, love the positivity. To date, everyone was unsure if AI was accepted by KDP. Now we know it is, and my interpretation of this is that it is a positive change. Not to worry, as long as we abide by the rules and produce quality books.

I've had 2 copyright strikes over artwork I PURCHASED. This angers me more than you can imagine. I followed all the rules for using the artwork I published including greatly modifying it. Which I wanted to do because why would i want my cover to resemble anyone elses? Well it's obvious to me I can't trust the platforms selling the artwork. So because of these "artists" reporting my products after taking my money from me when I bought artwork from them, guess what, I'm never buying from them again. Thanks to AI, I won't need to risk the health of my account on these fickle artists who can't be trusted. I was happy to support real artists. Now I don't care. Not worth risking my business.

No they just want to know what's AI generated, so their own training algorithms can avoid training on AI generated content if they want.

So I use creative Fabrica for all my content. What if the sellers on there are using AI? Is creative Fabrica would be considered AI in KDP? I don’t think the sellers on there are mentioning they use AI.

The responsibility is going to lie with the publishers, so if you're using stock images, it's probably safest to declare them as AI generated unless you know for sure they're not.
