Just to drop a quick update from my end Danny (and for your viewers!), I published a colouring book 2 days ago with the AI section ticked/completed. It published within 24 hours and ads are running fine to it and I've made sales. There's no difference on the page either. The only thing I'm waiting to see is whether it will rank for the keywords I get sales for... that's the big-one I'm yet to see!

I was really worried about the information I received from AMZ, so I couldn't gather the courage to upload the two finished coloring books using AI, even though I was very careful in my selection and modified all the details on every page. Currently, I plan to wait for a short period of time to see what steps I should take, as I don't want to put my account at risk. Nevertheless, I sincerely appreciate your sharing of this information. Great video mate! I don't suppose the AI declaration applies to book descriptions generated by AI 🤔 I use ChatGpt a lot for descriptions

Is creative fabrica usually ai generated? I have purchased designs from there for coloring books and can’t remember/ am now curious.

Some images are AI generated but it usually says

That will only only allow Amazon to suspend 1000s of accounts without providing any reason. They did ban me too without providing a reason and i have only had coloring books made with ai as you, high quality images upscaled and edited with high quality descriptions and covers.

Sorry Danny, I'm Italian and I don't speak English so I didn't really understand if canva is considered AI or not. I use it for the convenience of dragging and dropping the various objects I draw out of Canva. can you write it for me clearly and simply so that the automatic translator can work well? Using Canva and drawing is not considered AI unless you are using Canva AI to generate the images and upload them to Amazon.

@@DannyOnDemand I feel like self reporting AI work makes you vulnerable to future terms of service Changes Amazon might make towards AI use. In the meantime, I wonder how Amazons algorithm will treat KDP books that have been self reported as AI. I already got 50 works selling on Amazon. Currently sitting on 20 more titles that I am working on. Will wait and see.

will you declare ai usage for your old books? is not declaring for old books risky ? the guideline says when you publish a new book, edit or republish nothing is mentioned about old books hmmm

if you want to update old books and select that option Yes or no. not all books only new content updating books only . best ideas is No one to update any books 😂

I don't need to make changes to my old books. It's not risky for the old books as Amazon are only collecting info on AI books for now.

You own the copyright if you created the book even if you used AI. I hope that helps.
