@fizzybug Жыл бұрын
@@UNlTED_KlNGDOM also not trying to be rude /gen, but thats not what it is. fair warning, this is probably gonna be a long explanation that you didn't mean to get lol the quick response is, your right, no i can't chose wether im a boy or a girl or whatever else. but thats not quite what i mean lol. ok, very long explanation-- when people are transgender, its not quite a choice. you can't really control what you are or are not, and thats okay. its also incredibly difficult to understand, which is also okay. sometimes people think that when i say im trans, they think what im saying is "i know im in the body of a female, but i think its male now", like being transgender means to change your sex (based on physical attributes) rather than gender (based on mentality/comfortability) which, while the confusion is understandable, this is not the case. because theres a difference between sex and gender, they are not always interchangeable terms. everyone is assigned male, female, or intersex (which you might wanna google or something if you don't know what that means) when they are born. for example, i was born female. which means that even if i don't feel comfortable with my body or whatever else comes with being this sex, i cannot truly change that. no amount of surgery, or hormones, or whatever else can change that. the majority of people who are trans understand that. gender is different from sex. this is something much more fluid and malleable. while there are the main two sexes, there are many more genders, and yes, it can be difficult to understand. for example, im genderfluid, which means that the labels im comfortable with change (in case your wondering: yes it's infuriatingly confusing, no i don't force anyone to try and make me comfortable, 99% of the time i just use neutral terms like they/them to make it easier, and no its not just being indecisive). other people can come out as the opposite gender than their sex (ie FTM (female to male), MTF (male to female)), some people have it a bit more complicated, and some people don't quiet align with anything (agender) or simply don't want to have a label. (if you choose to do research about different genders and see something like dreamgender or cakegender (both actual things i saw, unfortunately) or whatever else that is equally super weird, please ignore it. people who make these are trolls and the only purpose these "identities" have is to mock others) pronouns are an entirely different thing, but to simplify it, pronouns to not equal gender. for example, you could be born male and go by all pronouns, yet still be cisgender (when your gender aligns with your sex). basically, gender is kind of messy and difficult to understand. but it doesn't hurt to call someone what they want to be called, unless its something really weird but thats not a gender thing so we don't need to talk about that :D just try to be respectful of others, its not too difficult and it can make them feel more comfortable and could really make their day :] and i apologize for this super long reply lmao, probably not what you were expecting. if anyones actually read it, then i hope you have a good day/night

Every human has varying degrees of masculinity and femininity. So, to state the obvious fact of being gender fluid , is just as useful as saying you identify as a human. Claiming your gender, or how you present is a fairly obvious way to gain attention or to seek validation through arguably artificial means. So, instead of focusing on true character attributes….kindness, empathy, determination, love, etc., we focus on trying to get instant validation through classification. Why else would you make a video or state what you are or how you present so vehemently? Yes, in 2023 we are unbelievably egocentric. Very sad.

@@historyrepeated4239 Trust me, there is nothing masculine or feminine about some people I know. You are just using the abelist cop out card to belittle people who are different. If course! I’m trans genderfluid and non-binary but that doesn’t (have to) mean that I always feel like neither male or female. Sometimes I do, sometimes I feel more feminine (which is why I also call myself a demigirl or demi-non-binary) and sometimes I feel like I’m both male and female (though I still struggle to accept my male side - when I discovered that I’m trans I initially thought in binary terms and rejected my male side (though I’m still not sure whether me feeling male is because I was raised male). I think your question is also about labels. I myself am often not sure whether I should use labels because I feel like there isn’t the one label that fits me so I use several. I would recommend to just experiment and try to use different label to see which ones fit or if any fits at all. It’s all fine. Remember, you decide what labels you use just like with pronouns - these things only you can decide. Don’t let anyone tell you what to use.

After 60 yrs of feeling like an alien, I'm finally just going to acceprt I'm neither...I overall don't wake up feeling either/or. I grew up a 'tomboy', but I wear trousers and dresses because they're comfy, and make me feel good, not particularly gender presenting. I'll stick with she/her because, well, it's been 60 years of answering to that, and it's not that important to me. I'm still working all this out to be honest, and feeling like I'm a big fat fraud, and worried by talking about it, just makes me look like I'm seeking attention..wish me luck.❤

Question: I don't have access to a real binder, so is using a sports bra that I take the cup thingys out of, stretched a small bit tight, okay to use for as long as the school day is? Two of my trans friends do this, but I want to be sure that it won't hurt before I do it. It isn't too tight, but I haven't tried it long term yet and I don't want to hurt myself
@hazelgrace11932 жыл бұрын
Woah. I think I just found a new term for myself???? I did NOT know this is what genderfluid meant. I never really cared about my pronouns so I always said call me whatever. I don't care. Some friends call me he and others call me she.. etc. It doesn't bother me. Ofc though I like being called by my birth name but is that what Gender fluid is? A dress honestly however I want and what I want. I was born a female and am comfortable in my body and the parts it has. It's the pronouns I don't really care about.

I thought I was a binary trans man last spring. The dysphoria was so bad, I wanted to peel my breasts off and chuck them into a river. I hated the sound of my voice when I spoke. The thought of having to tell my family gave me my first panic attack. Then it faded and I thought, "Oh, maybe I'm just non-binary and not being cis just freaked me out." Well now the dysphoria is back again this spring, so I guess for me, being genderfluid means having seasonal dysphoria 💀 Thanks, I hate it.
