It’s awesome that the company culture is much better at your new job. I always use a heat protectant before blow drying- either in the cream or spray kind. I feel like cream works better but the spray is nice because then it doesn’t get all over your hands.

Honestly I air dry almost everything except for things like underwear, socks, towels, sheets. It saves energy and money and the hassle of trying to figure out if you can put it in the dryer 😂 sometimes I'll throw something in for like 5-10mins to get the wrinkles out and then air dry it (except for wool. NEVER put wool in the dryer)

I like to go to the beach, play pickleball, hike or get mani/pedi with friends. More options than just restaurants or bars. There are also lots of festivals and markets on the weekends to attend!! I kinda like the kitchen desk- perfect for work from home!!

I air dry all of my clothes! I use clothes racks to hang them in the house and I'm lucky enough to have a clothesline in the summer but I only throw towels/sheets/socks/underwear in the dryer. Helps preserve the integrity of my clothes and saves on energy!

I air dry most of my clothes as well. Mainly my tops ans sweaters.Because those are the things I spend the most money on and I truly feel that they last so much longer because I don't put them in the dryer.My pants and jeans typically I do not air dry them.I will throw them in the dryer. I've never had a issue with clothes wrinkling, but it may all depend on the type of material that you're talking about. But if you have that issue, you could always buy a clothes steamer to get the wrinkles out. I used to have one of those because I used to travel a lot for work and sometimes my clothes would be wrinkly from the suitcase so I would travel with it and use that instead of an iron..

I air dry anything I think may shrink, but to make it even easier... any of my nicer pieces, linen, nice tops, etc. I air dry, because I find it keeps them looking nicer longer. Blow drying - I'd use a heat protectant of some sort, maybe one that mentions "sleek" or "straight" i find those tend to keep my hair a bit neater!

As someone who just got a townhouse too! Take advantage of the fact you have an overlap! Decorate, paint, change light fixtures if you want. Move in slowly! But you should just get a vanity you like off Wayfair or something!!! They aren’t $$ and it’s extremely easy to install! I think you would be much much happier!! Okay ideas that me and my friends do when we want to hang out for a couple hours that is free or pretty cheap: grab coffee and take it to go and then go on a really long walk together OR just go on a walk, no coffee required. Sometimes we also grab coffee and take it to a park and just sit on the benches or on a picnic blanket together and catch up. We also will often will go to the beach and sit on a blanket and read our books together on the beach.

Eyelash serum made me have really baggy under eyes and I had no idea what the cause was because I was sleeping 8hrs a night. I stopped using eyelash serum to see if that’s what was causing it and my eyebags got less pronounced so that’s great 👍 I will miss my long eyelashes

They have wow speed dry spray, I would try that. The wow dreamcoat spray is also amazing to put on before drying your hair it leaves it so silky and also has a heat protectant in it

Hey Keegan, I don't know if the whole washer/dryer thing is still an issue but how about moving the fridge to the left and the washer and dryer to the right side of the fridge. So basically where the fridge is now. On the right side of the fridge is the sink and you can connect a washer to the sink easily (at least in Germany ;D). By that the drain would not be an issue anymore.

I use the Typology lash serum for my brows and lashes and it's been so amazing so far! Just remember, all things react differently to everyone's bodies. Also, don't share where you work because people will not only show up but also harass your employer if they find something they disagree with you on. For instance, someone didn't agree about my stance on children getting vaccinated (flu, MMR, etc.) and they went out of their way to find a 1800-number to contact my employer... I learned my lesson and my employer told me to just not share where I work online.

I had to wait until I retired to start my KZbin channel and, when I was still working, I had to be very careful about what I posted, even funny stuff, on Facebook. Many companies feel that, what we post on social media could be considered a reflection of where we work/who we work for. And that can result in termination of your job.
