Kommo-o, going super saiyan with clangerous soul (or soulblaze) and the nod it gives to Kapu Kauilua and mauy thai cultures is really satisfying. Goodra, both forms, are a close second; derp dragon tries its best and should be appreciated for it! I do like Applin and its evolutions too though, grass is my favorite type, so grass/dragon is quite appreciated.

Idea: Gen 9 But you can only use middle stage evolutions. So any Pokémon that have a 3 or more Evo line you can only use their middle stage, or 2 stages you can only use the first stage. For example, Floragato Luxio Gabite

Stat doubling actually doesn't work like that, it's even worse It doubles the stat after accounting for evs, ivs and the nature so a base 60 speed mon can actually become faster than a base 120 pokémon Also you could have captured dragonite at the secret area right next to the dragon trial cave

I know how agonizing that Furfrou must have been, but... here comes some "too late, my bad" advice. You can get the Bagon on Route 3 before fighting the Furfrou. Just go the other way around from where you normally would. If you talk to Kukui from the front, he'll teleport you behind him, but there's some grass before him that lets you get a Bagon.
