I assume there are many variation to cook the minced meat (keema). So far I have watched yours Keema Karahi and Keema Matar, I think Keema Matar more suitable for my taste (considering the ingredients are quite familiar here in Indonesia). Well I am looking for new menu for next Eid Mubarak, so I think I am going to try it. I'll tell you my recook result. Many thanks. Please keep on cooking delicious stuffs.

Assalam u alaikum Saima, I have seen many variations of keema with matar, aloo and methi. Generally, all of them start with heating oil and frying the onion followed by spices, tomatoes and then adding the keema. I have had an opportunity to enjoy a Punjabi Lahori keema matar. The lady who cooked this started by first roasting/cooking the keema with some water (no oil at all) until the keema is cooked and most of the moisture has been evaporated. The keema is then removed and then onions are fried until golden and then other ingredients such as spices and tomatoes are added until such time that the gravy is well cooked and oil separates before adding matar and keema in the final stages. Dear Saima, I believe you are probably from Punjab Pakistan and should like you to shed some information in this method of preparing the Keema matar.
