The Philadelphia is my first Keen boot and I enjoy wearing them. The rubber cap is a plus since I’m always kicking up metal locks from equipment.

I am probably buying this pair of Keen Utility Industrial "Philadelphia" boots with metatarsal guard from Amazon, I already bought a pair of Caterpillar Excavator XL 6", and planning to buy at the same time also Timberland Pro Boondock 6", I like the 6" boots specially in the Philippines tropical climate specially suited and perfect for the tropical climate, that has all the necessary bells and whistles you can find on the boot with all the necessary protection for your toes and metatarsal guard, I will used it on most of my motorcycle tours and trips, specially on my Philippine Loop, just the perfect boot for the job, safety and comfort, these top 3 boots are the boots of my choice.

Does anyone's else boots squeak when you walk or bend over. Do you know how to fix it ?
@KillSwitchNY4 ай бұрын
Yeah they are pretty squeaky. Once I washed and oiled them they got alot quieter for a few months. I don't even mind it because these are the most comfortable and badass looking boots I've ever owned.

Just ordered a pair of the insulated version. I'm a trucker that has to work hours on the freezin ass dock every night. I'm sure I can get several years out of them. Can't wait!

Will these fall apart after 2 months like my last two pair?

We are sorry to hear that. We stand behind our products and offer a one-year manufacturer's warranty on material defects. You can file a warranty claim here: www.keenfootwear.com/warranty/ and our customer service team will be in touch. Thank you.

Yes, they will fall apart very quickly. I got 3 months out of them and they left me with an extremely sour taste in my mouth for the Keen company. Comfortable as hell but not durable at all! Just under $400cad for just under 4 months?! Keen made $100 a month off of my dumb ass.

@@ramtrucks721 I’m in concrete forming and also framing and my Keens couldn’t hold up. I’m wearing Dakotas now and so far so good. If I could get a year out of my boots if he happy. I hear Blundstones are comfortable and durable but I don’t like boots without laces. I’m happy yours are surviving brother. These work boots ain’t cheap.
@stirv64623 жыл бұрын
@@andyconda9644 you’d have blundstones destroyed in a week. Terribly thin and light Walmart slippers. I heard everyone loving them and tried some and was disappointed. Horribly expensive and garbage. They’re made for skinny pants at the mall.

How does this boot provide more protection than the keen hiking style work boots Because if it does not then why would you get something that's heavier, less comfortable to wear and less versatile
@KEENUtility4 жыл бұрын
It's a much heavier-duty boot, so it really depends on the type of work you do. Say, you are working at a rock quarry - the Philadelphia would offer a lot more stability and underfoot support than a hiking style work boot.

Ok guys its been one year now since I bought these boots and here's my opinion.(they suck) now I will tell you I work on the river in USA so they have been though heat/cold/ice and oil/gas spills Metal Barges and only Where them at work. The soul is coming apart and go flatfooted after 6 months.so just my review of them good luck if you just got a pair of them.
