Keep those craftsman 19.2 volt tools and batteries

A less labor-intensive approach is to just get an adapter for a different battery system and switch over to those. For example, I inherited some of these Craftsman tools, plus a few other brands I didn't use normally. They all needed new batteries, so I would have to buy a bunch that weren't compatible with my original tools. Instead, I invested in a few Dewalt battery clones and got an adapter from those to the various tool brands. With the adapters, I'm still only using one type of battery, so only one type of charger required. Most adapters are

Not worth the time and effort cuz for about $17.00 you can buy an adapter from Amazon that will allow any newer type lithium batt that you chose to run your older craftsman tools I use Dewalt lithium batteries on my older 19.2 volt craftsman tools as well as my new Dewalt tools

true. or you can buy new lithium ion batteries made for the 19.2 series tools. both options come out to around the same cost. this way in the video may actually come out to be cheaper if you have a bunch of 19.2 nicd batteries lying around that you dont want to chunk in the garbage.

DO these big lipos have the bms in them? I'm guessing not because of the balance lead. Might want to get one of those low battery screamers that attach to the balance plug, that's what I did. I was afraid of killing the battery.
