Hundreds audition, but only a select group will secure spots in the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders training camp. DCC director Kelli Finglass and head choreographer Judy Trammell oversee the intense audition process and decide which hopefuls will make the team.

A I chose to have a job to support myself and my son, no one is forcing me to get a job 🤦🏾‍♀️A job is a job at the end of the day and Dallas Cowboys hire and employ cheerleaders. Pay them what they are worth. No one is working for free and making low wages for fun to be poor. The main reason I went to college to earn my Bachelors degree because I was sick of making minimum wage and couldn’t support myself. The girls have to learn difficult choreography within a 5-10 minute time frame and memorize it. Also, they have to dance next to veterans that already know the moves. It’s an unfair advantage out of the gate. I want you to gather a bunch of women and have them dance for a set amount of time and do a jump split...? In addition to that, diet and exercise and fit that uniform. The coaches will cut women and tell them go back and take dance classes. Who is paying for that? The girls that are auditioning have a dream to make that squad. How dare you tell someone not to work hard to achieve whatever dream they want?! Actors pay for acting lessons, gymnast pay for gymnastics lesson, men and women beat their bodies up to train for sports and be the best to make it in the NFL, NBA, MLB, and NHL. Cheerleading is a sport. The average woman is a size 10/12. The sacrifices they make, they should be paid accordingly. You’re insane to make such a dumb ass comment and shame on the two people that liked it🤭

I know they got a pay raise but even still the group leaders should be getting paid more for all the extra work they do even just teaching dances during practices. Like I wonder how much Judy makes at the choreographer? Cause from what I have seen it mainly falls to the more senior girls to teach the dances in training camp. And don’t get me wrong on this I like Judy but as far as teaching the dances it definitely falls more on the group leaders so they deserve more pay that what they already got in their pay raise

Toni Welch maintaining composure is part of the job. Watching her not be able to retain choreography was really sad and instead of taking the criticism and improving she completely fell apart. Even the small clips of her auditioning this year you see her making many mistakes.

It's so odd to me that you would say joining the DCC is your life long dream and yet you wouldnt know how to jump split or high kick. Particularly by Season 14! You know what they're looking for, you know who gets through. With the amount of video footage out in the world, you could learn the whole signature dance before you walk through the door.

Kelli and Judy have a wonderful job and they have difficult job. That’s why they are in the position that they are in. They’re both strong, passionate and focused women. They enjoy what they do and they represent the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders with the utmost dignity and respect and they don’t expect anything less from anyone else.

Sheila Amberger the only reason I feel like they are going to cut her is because she is the only other women of color on the team. They want to come across as a diverse team even they know they have 2 black girls. If they had all white girls they would be accused of racism. Caz E each group has a leader and then a secondary leader (probably to help lead practices or fill in for the leader in case of injury). Group 1 is Amy and Miranda, group 2 Maddie and Lexie, group 3 heather and group 4 Alexis and Tess and Gina. Also they’re having Maddie and Amy split time as the point of the triangle this year
