Wootak, i understand your pain bro. I had an ex from a long time ago. She did drugs. I wasn't into it so I broke up with her. Tried to get her some help. She committed suicide not long after. Apparently, her parents thought of me as her lifeline. So they blame me for it. In turn, I blame myself. I still miss her.

It’s not your fault. It was a decision that she mad. It’s hard for people who are depressed or in a bad state of mind to want to live even when they do have people they love. There’s no guarantee that even if you stayed with her she’d still be here. Don’t dwell on what could’ve happened. The fact you miss her just means she was an important part of your life and I’m sure you were to her as well. Keeping her in your memory is good enough.

Just a note on the Zac Efron comment… he broke his jaw and had to have his mouth wired shut, later in the healing process he explained that his masseters got bigger because it would overcompensate for his other facial muscles not being as strong… also he has opened up about having an ED and struggling with body image after he filmed Baywatch… I just wanted to point that out because you guys didn’t know, but I do think it’s important to be mindful of what/how you comment on other people’s looks

My now ex boyfriend died June 1st of 2023 due to suicide and I don’t think anyone could’ve helped me at that time, I went on a downward spiral and ended up homeless due to me completely losing touch with reality, I lost what I believed at the time to be the person god sent to heal me and I kept questioning myself on why I didn’t see any signs, but some people can hide their depression so we’ll and it seems like it just doesn’t exist as if it never existed to begin with, it sucks loosing somebody who knew you knew on such an intimate level. You never forget them. it’s like they linger in your brain even tho they aren’t here anymore and I can say it gets better once life goes on but it’s still difficult, I’m waiting until his first heavenly birthday to finally try and get rid of the belongings I had that were his, I miss him every day but all I know is I gave him as much love as I possibly could while he was here with me. I am sadly still homeless but god has been good to me so far so thank god and may God bless his soul. And Wootak you will get through it even tho it is hard, I learned two things the day my ex died, one is the world doesn’t stop just because you are going through hell and two nobody is promised to live to old age, every moment counts even if you don’t think it matters so love everyone around you as god loves you. Also she seemed lovely and I’m sorry for your loss god bless her soul.🙏🏾❤️

Suicide is very hard to deal with I dealt with it very young. My cousin passed away from suicide and my father set himself on fire and tried to. It changed my whole family. Truly what heals grieving is time and it’s hard but time always heals.

I get the point about making us "less powerful", but there is legitimate statistics on how gun control works to prevent mass shootings, and US has the MOST mass shootings BECAUSE of no gun control. Drugs are a different beast.. wayy harder to control because of addiction and dependence

I actually saw a video recently, wherethey explained that a lot of homeless people are moved into California by state govts because it takes less resources to support them since weather conditions arent as harsh. So in some states, homeless people will be told either to go to prison or get free transport to Cali. Similar thing is happening in Vancouver in Canada.

Hey Esther, I suffer with partial seizures also and when they happen I usually lie on my side (recovery position), close my eyes and take slow / deep breaths and try not to get too worked up, after that they usually go away. My epilepsy is triggered in the morning, so looking at my my phone screen or seeing sun light right after waking up can trigger me, I have to adjust to them slowly. I Hope this helped, look after yourself and I hope you’re feeling better 💜 x

To talk on Esther’s aura question I have a similar feeling. I do not have epilepsy but for a point in my life I had seizures due to an injury/surgery I had but they only came at certain times when my blood pressure and heart rate were low and high. I’d get an aura that at first my vision would start like tunnel vision and slowly close in until everything was black, and at the same time my ears would start ringing and as the ringing stops so does my ability to hear and next thing yk I’m waking up, I used to try and get myself down to the floor but obviously it was never in the “ideal places” at least to get myself up against a wall if I couldn’t get somewhere.

I’m so sorry for your loss Wootak 🙏🏼🥺May she rest in peace 🙏🏼🙏🏼 1:54:23 Esther I’ve had epilepsy since I was about 4 or 6 years old I’m the type who thankfully doesn’t get them that often I haven’t had one over 2 almost 3 gears now I think ANYWAYS I don’t remember much about the ones I had under 12 years old but of the ones I do remember whenever I had/would have the feeling that I’m about to have one before it’s late of not having control of my body either someone would notice and try to talk to me through it and help me not move in a way I’d probably hurt myself when having one OR if I’m alone and maybe standing I would move quick near the wall or whatever is closest to me and lean my back on it and slowly move down to sit on the floor and do my best to be in a good position to not hit my head (one time I ended up only getting the chance to lean on my side and ended going the other way and hit ny head pretty bad, I cried my eyes out and thought I would have a bruise the next day)
