Not everyone has a hitch. I personally only put one on when towing, otherwise it's a big knee killer and you have less space to back up

I had to put small piece of reflective tape on the front of the lip top of tailgate to see that its up from the rear view mirror red !And i have the B-W hitch as well but hard to flip when handicapped some Gm needs to program it different like lock mode dash and remote buttons can be turned off when needed!!

I think the best hitch that can be adjusted quickly (lowered) to get out of the way from a possible collision with the tailgate, plus it looks more bitchin' than any other hitch on the market, is the heavy duty built like a tank RHINO HITCH 👍😎

Buy the B&W multi pro trailer hitch, @only hitch made for Multipro GMC and Multiflex Chevrolet to operate full tailgate without hitting hitch, it is only one made for it, it’s expensive but worth it. I got one and it is a beautiful flexible hitch that comes in three different sizes for 3 sizes of receivers. Only one you will find.

I got an old B&W Hitch and I'm not willing to fork out another $450 for one compatible with the Multipro... I'll just take it off or lock it from now on.

I wish GM would have told me about the top button for 3 seconds!!!! I will try it tomorrow! And I have the B-W hitch as well and I like it a lot but if pouring rain is a pain !.and I had to put small piece or red reflective tape on the inside lip of top of the tailgate to let me know when it's closed from the rear view mirror it opened once lost some things!!!

I just tried that on my 22 Silverado ZR2 and it didn't work. As soon as I press the button to hold it. The top portion tops open

I think they are going to release a future update for 2022 ZR2’s. We experienced the same thing with the new ones.

Same here. 22 ZR2. This feature doesn't work. I originally ordered it without multiflex due to this issue. I changed to multiflex when they announced the fix.

Why not just rotate the hitch with 3 balls so that not one of them is facing upwards, since no trailer is connected to the rear bumper plus the hitch is still bolted to the receiver, not completely removed 🤔

Will still damage tail gate look up b&w hitch it's groved out when folded not to hurt gate some one said just remove hitch not easy for retired people look at it you can see what I.meen

It works well but it has to be folded under the truck use only with a trailer or if not folded will hit the tailgate my remote works well now not as sensitive my GMC dealer did some programming on it yes red tape tail gate to watch in rearview mirror is great 👍
