You somehow appeared on my feed. I SO enjoyed this!! I love your little farm, your home and your darling family! I’m so excited for your new arrival too! You look great as well! You have so much energy, I used to, lol. I’m 69, supposed to be retired; was a Hairdresser for 48 years. I have a really nice salon in the lower half of my home and still do a little hair. I also took a part time job as a Driver’s Ed Instructor. I love it! I work 3 days a week right now, but will increase to 4 after the first of the year. I love working with the kids and have been driving since I was 13. (Alone I might add) 😂 I’ve wanted to drive since I was 7 years old. So I guess I was meant for this job, who’d of known. ❤️🙏🏻👍🏻 So that’s a bit about me. 🥰

Oh my goodness how fun! Well, if there is one thing I absolutely cannot do, it’s anything with hair LOL. I cut bangs on my daughter once and my husband gently and kindly asked that I never do that again 🤣 it was so bad we laughed hard enough to make ourselves cry. My goodness you are brave being a driving instructor. I’m so glad you enjoy being here. Welcome!! ❤️❤️🥰

You did a great job planning this out as well as all the food and farm prep. I found myself tearing up a few times and getting excited with you as you got through these last few days. The preciousness of this time really came through. I have never heard of another woman talk about birth and pregnancy like you, and that is a total compliment. 😊 I’m very grateful to have found your channel a few months ago. It’s definitely scary when people express their concern of you waiting. Once I got the results of the scan I knew I was good to wait longer. Strange. I only had four but the last three I had natural. I found that I labored gently. I stayed home until they got into a pattern and then we rushed to the hospital. #3 was born in the elevator going up to delivery. # 4 I had appointment at 5 pm. Told Dr I was in labor. He said no but let’s check. Then he said well maybe tomorrow. I said “Don’t go home for dinner. I’ll be back in an hour”. He went. I went across the street from the hospital and shopped. I went to hospital at 6 pm. She was borne at 6:30pm. He missed it. Basically I just had 3-4 hard pains and pushed. I always went 2 weeks over my due date.

Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoy them ☺ I have used a combination of different shampoos and hair washes over the years. I'm currently using a shampoo and conditioner from doTERRA. I make SURE to use hair products with clean ingredients. I also only wash my hair about once a week. During the summer months when I'm sweating a lot I'll rinse my hair without shampoo. I also don't brush my hair very often either. I use leave-in conditioner to keep it from tangling too badly. I'm getting ready to write that I don't fuss over it much but as I'm thinking I realize there is more than I thought LOL. I'll try to get a short video out on it since I have a bit more to say and I can explain it better that way.😄

Though women do need to understand not to over work near their time or while they are in early labor, or they will be too exhausted to have the baby. I know someone who does that. And it's very dangerous. Her husband even once left her to do all the farm evening chores (they have sheep, goats, and chickens) so he could go play video games with his brother, one week before she was due. And they have absolutely no medical help except for her mother-in-law who was, for a short time and a long time ago, was an EMT. We know her and she had admitted to my Mom that she didn't really want to, (it can put her in jail if something went wrong) but was worried if she wasn't there something would happen.

Love that you got to treat yourself. I just found you with this video, and love it! Honest question that I’m struggling with… how do you go and get your nails done and do lunch with friends? Do you just tell your husband “hey I’m doing this. The kids are yours to watch for a while.”? Or how does that work? I can’t seem to do things like that without feeling so guilty for some reason, and I know it’s something I really need. 🤷🏼♀️ lol #momguiltstinks

Weeeeeellll, it is different for different seasons. This particular week all my children were gone with my parents, so that’s why I took full advantage of being a childless mom 😁. Before my oldest daughter was old enough to babysit I didn’t do much, if any, “time away”. Occasionally I’d meet a friend for dinner at Panera when our husbands got home from work and could keep the kids, but other than that I didn’t do much. Of course now that I have 2 older daughters who babysit I have more flexibility to get out alone. If you are in the thick of littles just hang on, those are the tough years. BUT, they do go by so so fast when you look back.
