To me, the most important feature of a Team Knowledge Base tool is the review / verification workflow, because this helps your team docs keep away from becoming stale, especially when your docs inflate as the team develops. And when your docs become out of date, they will be given up by everyone very soon. Maybe no one is going to complain about anything, they just don't search and read them any more. So Notion and Slite should be out of the comparison in the first place, because they don't have this review / verification feature. Tettra, Slab and Kipwise are good options, in my opinion.

Definitely agree that it can be difficult to build up a team knowledgement management system. Great stuff!

Why would you not just use Notion for Team Knowledge Management???

because in notion the entire note will get sluggish as hell if you write too many words & add a couple of images in it, not to mention, you can't put a table of content on the sidebar in notion, you have to go all the way to the top to view your table of content again. Slite provides a table of content on the sidebar by default. also, even if the folders are empty, notion keep showing an arrow indicator on all notes and folders. this really frustrates me a lot when you have a ton of subfolders and don't know which one is empty and which is not. also in slite, you can draw, or create simple diagrams in-app, this will be super useful

@@jensenraylight8011 Notion has been feeling more sluggish lately, I have to say. We use it for our knowledge base and try to keep each page quite short and instead of links and backlinks. In terms of table of contents, we have a skeleton on the left side that acts as a kind of table of contents, the notes themselves are never long enough for the table of contents being on the top to be an issue.

@@DigiDriftZone i see, many people favor short page but create more notes & folder. By table of content i mean a table of content inside the page, let you automatically scrolled to the Header you clicked. Very useful for multi header document.

I'll use notion for my own site and slab for work related stuff. Notion is more complicated for people who aren't used to knowledge management systems
