I signed up for the trial a few hours ago. I think Slite has potential for companies, teams, orgs, and even individual in that basically includes an AI that searches answers questions on content you add to it. When you asked it about a good nearby restaurant, it didn't have context to answer that question. It wasn't in your knowledge base. It looks as though Slite is not going out side accounts to retrieve info.

Do you think Slite features can be replicated in ClickUp?

The AI answers taking into account Questions and Answers but it takes up to 10 minutes to index new content.

Based on this review, it looks disappointing to me. Probably good compared to what most people think a "Knowledge Base" should be - but the true measure of a knowledge base is being able to retrieve the information you need. If you know what question to ask, or what keywords to search for, this will probably work - but often you don't - so a knowledge graph, with bidirectional links, should be regarded as the minimum requirement for a knowledge base.

100% agree. A PKMS _without_ bi-directional linking is a non starter. 😅

Unless you need something everyone on a team can understand and figure out and your team isn’t a team of researches and scientists and engineers.

Why would the average joe need a knowledge graph?

@@merthantukus2432 it's all about retrieval: you might remember which note contains the info, or you might pick a good word to search for. Otherwise, the knowledge graph gives a useful way to find things. It will also show you related notes which you might have forgotten. Since I wrote the comment, a new option has arisen - Google's NotebookLM (an LLM reads your notes and allows you to interact with them conversationally) - but right now, it's only available in the USA, and from the reviews I've read, maybe it isn't quite as good as it could be yet.
