So glad that the heater didn't do more damage. Big fan of the Nano, my personal preference. When I did my restart in the hobby I lost whole tank from a heater that stuck on.

Thanks! Brazil that’s awesome! The Scopas in a small tank has worked much longer and better than I ever thought it would

Get an inkbird controller and use any old heater with it, I need to upgrage to a titanium. Titanium dont have any failure points apart from the heating element itself. And they also don't break.

Tank is coming back! - nice. Yeah I actually found what I think is a similiar bacteria to hydrospace here in Europe - stoked! Only put it in a couple of days ago so we will see. I don't think Lepto's are the most underrated - my vote goes to Montis but not far behind are favites and other encrusting LPS. You are right - these corals get missed - they are super colorful and usually super forgiving. I love acros, euphyllia, gonis and the big LPS but Leptos, montis and favites are often much easier and objectively brighter corals. We only have to see your video on Setosa for evidence ;)

I think I saw somewhere probably on reef2reef somewhere... someone had a yellow tang in a 60g that didn't grow much at all. I am curious about this hmmm. This has also been seen in CB yellows too. Some have suggested diet or behavior change due to swimming space. Probably cannot be diet because you have big tangs in the 200 so 🤷♂️

I never believed the small tank size would have this much effect on its growth but it seems to.

Where did you get that red blushing leather?

I picked it up from Aquarium supply distribution. The no longer sell coral but most companies that sell wild coral can get them

Why the heck do these heaters go up to 1000 degrees anyways.... should be maxed at 80 and fail off... yea might take longer to initially heat the water but safer longterm... such a simple thing they all fail at

That’s a great point!

@@MileHighReefers I use it now to heat my saltwater mixing container really fast now instead of leaving it preheated....works great for that now lol
