Great to see you back doing the epic rides. We’ve been missing you. Parts of this route look like the Great North Trail.

Another great ride so jealous,, I've given up on my brakes and got sram g2 4 piston and just ordered the rear, really hunted for bargain buys and still a total of 100 quid but a game changer

Seeing that crash of yours at the beginning of this vid made my legs feel funny, just like it did the first time I saw it! You need to put a crash warning 😂.

After a long hiatus of riding, got myself a new bike. Slowly getting fitness up. Came across your channel recently and feel inspired, so going to try the Shropshire cycleway. Wild camp a lot, but never bikepack! Any advice for a complete novice?

Nice one - good to see you are back in the saddle; Questions here: is this Garmin 840 you have there? If so, how did you get rid of the 'virtual partner' on the screen when navigating? Its all the time on, on my screen and its so annoying and taking so much room!!

Please can you tell us how you have packed your bike, what you have taken for such a long trip. It feels like you have next to nothing with you. I'm just learning bike packing and still trying to work out what to take. Thanks. Absolutely love your videos.

Here is a playlist that you might find helpful. kzbin.info/aero/PLWlIhD2zEcrIvPjOks79okQWGfTzQJKFI What to take is very personal preference really, and you learn what you personally need and don't need just by getting out there.

The bike industry has now gone hi tech. Along with this comes an expectation that cyclists will pay well over the odds for basic parts. It's the modern face of cycling and the only way to counteract it is to buy parts when you see them at realistic prices. At least you were able to continue the adventure. Thanks for the video.

It used to be that bike shops sold you what you needed and not what you wanted. Now it's flipped and we see £10k plus bicycles. It's crazy that a bike is more expensive than some cars and motorbikes.

Planet X and Sonder still offer great value for new bikes with a good spec. But when SRAM want £260 for a replacement left hand brake lever for a 1x11 drivetrain, it's head scratching time.
