We were there in May on Mediterranean and Greek Isle cruises of the coastal towns and taking excursions on the inner towns. Love Florence and Cinque Terre (Vernaza & Riomaggiore). Italy is fabulous.

Well done closing that suitcase Trish :) Have you considered packing cubes for long trips? I travel often to Europa and after starting using packing cubes I do not have to sit on my suitcase anymore. Love your Italy videos. I heard the church bells and boy how I miss them. Go empty nesters :) Did it 3 years ago and loving it even that I LOVE spending time with my adult kids.

Oh and the elevator thing … totally a thing there … lol we have pictures too. The only thing we did in Florence was David and the duomo and we had a snack at the Irish pub by the duomo … i mean why not hit up the Irish pub in Florence ? 🤷‍♀️🍻🍻if you’re on your way home … have a safe trip

Ok Caleb, we all heard it, about the 21:00 mark your dad said, “you need to take your kids out to Italy to deliver on that promise”…..so their going to take you to Italy for ice cream ❤ I was just thinking, not only did they feed you Mac’n cheese and have steak after you went to bed, they went out partying with friends…haha Wow, what an amazing trip and to have such great friends join you is like icing on the cake !!!! Amalfi coast is my favorite place in Italy. No where did we hate, but Amalfi we had a fling with and fell deeply in love with. Amalfi lemon experience in the town of Amalfi was amazing. Cooking in a lemon grove!

Once again … my memories are flooding back… we hiked from Corniglia to Vernazza … the MOST amazing hike ever! We even came into an olive grove where a man was playing an accordion … had drinks at a restaurant at the half way point and the most stunning views of the Med. and we had to buy another suitcase because we had backpacked into Italy … and we were all bursting at the seems by the end!
