Hi Steve, I’ve watched a couple of videos for this morning and I can now see that for some reason, these engines don’t have an oil filter?? Thanks for your help.👍

There's a small guaze cage at the bottom left of the engine casing, undo the the bolt and carefully remove the guaze. Blow out with Brake cleaner, and pop it back in etc, only do this when your changing your engine oil.

Hi is the not a oil filter on these bikes?

There is a small gauze filter, it sits at the bottom of the engine, under the magneto if I remember correctly on the left hand side, theres a nut you remove and pull the small gauze cage out and clean it with some carb cleaner, only do this during an oil change or you'll lose all your oil over the floor. 😀

Hiya Ken I am indeed from Fife, Kelty for the most of it to be exact 😍 I bought a set of Bar End mirrors as I couldn't see out the stock ones, as for the seat it depends on what youd like to get, ebay does single seat conversions for about £40. If you go on Facebook and search for either Keeway International or Keeway owners uk clubs and when you find them you have to answer 2/3 simple questions as to why you want to join (it's to deter phishing scams etc) but its check full of great ppl who know loads of stuff, hope it helps mate, thanks for watching. 😃👍

Hi, there isn't a filter as such but there's a gauze cage similar in shape to a Thimble, there's a large nut maybe a 17/19mm below the gear change bit, remove it and clean out with brake cleaner and return it back in again, during an oil change obviously 😉

Hi Lee I don't have the bike anymore, but I swapped out the factory air filter for a K&N filter, allows more air in and you get a good throaty note on throttle, may have to adjust the Idle and mixture screw to balance it out.

Hi, thanks for watching the videos...😉👌👍 Check it on level ground on the centre stand, if you check it on the side stand the observation window on the casing will look like it's empty.

Why take the plug out??

It helps the oil flow out the bottom faster, not that it matters much but you should check it visually once a year minimum anyways.

It could be a low battery light, checkbyour battery posts and give them a good clean, check the earth from the battery has a good clean connection, corroded wires can disrupt charging etc.

Hi Steven, you mentioned in the intro to your vid doing a rear mudguard chop. How did you do this? I’m about to buy a superlight ltd that has been similarly customised but the chopped rear guard is sitting really high and doesn’t look that good to be honest. The first thing I’ll do is fit a close fitting rear guard.

I welded a rear guard frame to the swingarm and positioned the chopped Mudguard close to the wheel, like a hugger.

Not a filter as such no, there is a bolt near the bottom of the sump which you remove to take out a small thimble gauze cage filter, quick clean and put back in, I think it's near the frame if I remember correctly 😀
