A while back I had some nukataps that seemed to have some very slight flaking in the bore. It was possibly related to the chrome plating. Was this ever addressed? I don't mean this to be negative, I'm generally impressed with kegland's products otherwise and have bought a lot of them.

We have been testing two different methods of making the Nuktaps. We have manufactured some of them by polishing and then chrome plating and then with others we just use the polished stainless steel finish only. To get a very high shine on them the chrome plating is the best but with that said the most durable is just the polished stainless steel. We can fairly easily make them either way.

@@KegLand My 2 cents, I'm more focused on durability than how shiny it is. I'd go for a tap that I can use and show off over a tap that I can only show off any day. Great video either way

Interesting. Why is the pour spout bent to the right on these then? The last two I’ve ordered have been distorted and bent to the right

Is it possible for you to email us a photo so we can better solve your issue.

How hands on are you with your manufacturing base in China? Do you get "on the ground" often? Does KegLand own all the manufacturing, robotics and testing hardware or is that a subcontractor? As you say, this is for the Nukatap products, but what about your other products like fermzilla/brewzilla/rapt pill.. etc. ?

We have about 40 staff in China now and we have this site in the video plus we also have a injection moulding and blow moulding site and then a consilidation warehouse and office in Hefei. We do subcontract many parts but we also do manufacture quite a lot inhouse especially if they are our core products or high volume products.

I understand the economics aren't as friendly but I sure would love to see some investment in Australian manufacture.

We do whatever we can in Australia and we do still do a lot of prototyping and small scale production here. The other issue is that only 25% of our customers are in Australia. The others are overseas and Australia is not in a good position to ship to Europe, Canada and America and most shipments end up going through asia to get to these destinations even if we did manufacture in Australia so it's hard to justify as we are not in a logistically good position to ship worldwide from here.

It's still good to see an Aussie company doing so well on the international stage. Keep up the product innovation 😀
