Kehlani mentioned that she was nervous because she didn’t have in-ear monitor and she has hearing loss, so she was afraid that she couldn’t control her tone properly 🥺 this made me respect her even more and she really gave her best for her tiny desk performance!! She is the only few artistes who would use their voice for a greater purpose 💖 not to forget, the band is really sick and the chemistry and harmony between everyone is insane !!!

Kehlani can really sing. I love the color of her voice - usually with modern pop production you can't really capture these emotions und small nuances of the vocals. But Tiny Desk never disappoints with showing real raw music. Would love to see an unplugged of Kehlani. The dynamics in-between her and her back up singers and her band is just beautiful and needs to be recorded for future generations to come!

if only her produced recordings captured her talent like this. Rather, they sound like auto tune. She proves she doesn't need auto tune. We need to bring back the rawness, not only here on Tiny Desk but on productions as well.

NPR, thank you for consistently booking artists who speak up for Palestine while so much of the entertainment industry is black balling those same artists 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 it’s no surprise that the best artists they all make fire music

Kehlani the fact that you remembered us, GUAHAN. Is so appreciated!! I still have my concert tickets and videos from when you performed at the University of Guam. I have been a fan of yours since ever since. Thank you!! This made me cry happy tears that a celebrity of your status who has actually touched our soil has acknowledged our reality, it is deeply appreciated. HU GUIYA HAO (I love you (in CHamoru)).

Many people can sing but not all singers HEAL & feel like therapy. Her speaking voice is just as beautiful as her singing voice. Kehlani's throat is just blessed with something special. Always deeply touched by her music 🙌🏼❤ with "Water" "Distraction" & "Nunya" being my faves.
