The young man on the right, Alex, is unquestionably wrong but he is far from unintelligent. His confidence, which is unwarranted, is due entirely to an attitude that is overwhelmingly seen in Gen Z. It is a generation that has zero respect for anybody but themselves and so far has proved itself to be pretty much worthless. They have plenty to say but nothing to back it up with. They would never lift a finger to defend this country and they generally lean to the left for social reasons, feigning moral rectitude and delusional wisdom that never needed and experience of life whatsoever. Despite all of this, Alex is, in his own mind, is extremely clever and has got all the answers, hasn’t he? Usually, when young inexperienced people try and show us where we are all going wrong they are well intended but oblivious to their own ridiculous naivety. Alex is not unusual in this respect. He talks as if he is the big teacher but in reality he could never pass the entry level to become the student. Most careerists do this and, just like Alex, are driven by their uncontrollably outsized egos. It’s part of growing up. Life is going to kick this generation right up its rear end simply because that’s what it does to pretty much all of us, but Alex is oblivious to this two. You would expect not too much brilliance from any new government within 100 days but what he omits to address due to having very little experience of life, is that you wouldn’t expect this litany of insane, deceit and mean conduct, let alone political imbecility from any government within 100 days of taking power. The rank ignorance of Gen Z is something we have never seen before and never expected. Part of it is possibly due to technology but a larger part is due to the knock on effect of extreme feminism that has been out of hand for the last 30 years, throughout the West and has caused the imploding of civilisation as we know it, much to the amusement if all the enemies of the West. Gen Z, and the arrogance and pride they have of their lack of backbone are, without any argument, more or less as arrogantly misinformed as Alex is. Some of this, such as the consequences of the wanton destruction of the nuclear family by removing males and disempowering them, is indeed partly the fault of older generations, too. We have abdicated our duty to bring any humility to the current generations, including the Millenials, nor anything that could ever be accused of being character building. Some of this does actually fall on our shoulders as the older generation. The damage, and wokery is purely part of it, is incalculable. Gen Z is unlikely to ever to recognise this as their arrogance is endemic in the West and we are unlikely to ever see common sense and civility return within our lifetime. Alex, sadly, is about as good as it will get and may God have mercy on the future of the West, accordingly, if indeed this country will actually have a future once Alex and his ridiculously misinformed, ego-driven Gen Z have finished destroying our hard earned freedoms.

Then she makes such a ludicrous statement pertaining to how much better Rayner would be despite the fact that she is little more than a twisted, bitter exponent of the politics of envy, Rayner is both wantonly ignorant and damned proud of it, too. She is already the most embarrassing senior minister I have witnessed in my 73 years. ‘Starmer is much simpler. He is just the vassal of the Davos/WEF swamp. Rayner, straight out of the gutter, actually beggars belief. She is the very definition of hypocrisy, which is common to all extremist class war socialists on the take. I became a carer for my partner. Because of incompetents by the carer's appointed to us by the adult social services. They never turned up on time to get her out of bed and bathed and dressed and taken into the living room. Plus, they got her medication mixed up despite the charts that said what time and what medication was due. I got rid of them, and for 15 years, I took care of her myself. Sadly, she passed away 3 years ago. So I went to the job centre to try for a job. I was told not to bother because of my age. I am now 65. I was looking forward to being a pensioner next year. But now that's looking bleak. My partner had a stroke. She passed away due to pneumonia. Her name was Melissa. I did love her.

@michaelwakeford23363 ай бұрын
So very sorry to hear that your partner has left this life. I think your love for her cannot be in doubt and hopefully you will be together for eternity as and when nature takes it’s course. I was a carer for my late mother so we do share some experiences. I am 73. I have no family whatsoever and having had a cancer diagnosis just over a couple of years ago I am at terms with the obvious. However, I am as busy as hell returning to business in order to try and leave some money to some of my less fortunate friends. I have made and lost three reasonable fortunes, due to four recessions but I am back up and fighting because otherwise I would need to simply put my sword on the ground and wait for the inevitable end. Not my style. Look, I completely understand how being forced into DWP subsidies is not great. Not at 65. But, going back to the battlegrounds of life at 65 with a wealth of life experience can be fun. Giving the Grim Reaper a bloody nose whilst you’re doing it is also fun. First you need your mojo back. I started by getting my hair and teeth fixed in Türkiye. It was pretty much a huge sacrifice financially but eventually I got there, at 73! Now, I look great and I have, for now, got my cancer on the back foot although at my age something is going to take me down soon enough. I still live alone and have a sack of tragedies in my past but it has no place in keeping me out of the battlefields of life. Even if I never win another battle I am not leaving this planet without fighting to my last breath and I do not need permission from the DWP, even though I am pretty much penniless at the moment. It actually enriched us just to get up and fight. We tend to make good new friends whilst doing it. Even when we lose the war, which is inevitable, there can be no excuse for surrendering prematurely. You will complete your journey with your head held high if you simply flatly refuse to cease firing at your enemies. Take none of their nonsense. Go down guns blazing and you will keep your well earned self respect to your last breath. Go down laying prostrate before the DWP and you risk forfeiting your chance to set a sterling example of how to live. I may well fail in financial terms. I know that. The odds do not favour me. Even better, that makes a fight all the more attractive as the prize is greater. Should I fail in finance I will succeed in other ways. I may have lost the fight but I will go standing up and not in submission. I shall be only too happy if that is all I can achieve. Please do not do as your enemies in this ridiculous country want, and retire your fighting spirit. If you have no other plan, try just working on looking like the person you want to be. That’s where I started this, my last campaign. I now walk tall, look sharp and am back in the front rank awaiting life’s final assault with a great big confident smile on my face. That, alone, is taking me forward and I will be damned if I do not have the last laugh. Good luck in whatever you choose. You deserve it.

I lost my salon business before it reached 10 years thanks to the lack of staff. People don’t realise how complicated and scientific hairdressing is, I know quite intellectual people who wouldn’t even pass the theory! The competition has caused the industry to become a minimum wage career, to do such hard work with such intense knowledge for minimum wage is simply disgusting.

Having a degree is not a guarantee of practical ability! Many of us growing up in the 50/60s including myself, went on to build successful businesses or did very well once they found their niche! Without so much as an ‘O’ level. We were not academic, however we had a very broad general knowledge and ability, so when we found our niche we excelled! Over education did not guarantee success! This will be apparent when scrutinising some of those in charge!

Not much chance of that. He’s clearly a narcissist and narcissists tend to think that they are the only life that matters on this planet, as is clearly apparent when Alex delivers his naive, inexperienced and churlish statements. Alex will never grow up. I have little doubt that he assumes that he has already done that but, of course, having lived since Churchill was Prime Minister when King George VI was on the throne, it is not possible to avoid seeing how pathetically immature Alex is. I would be surmised if this ever changes as his narcissi is always incurable. He will also be in total denial of it, as all narcissists are. Even if Alex was to re-jig his character into being a charming narcissistic psychopath, which many of them are, he will still believe that he is in line for a huge career worthy of his unimaginable gravitas. I doubt whether he has much, if any, control of this. People are born with that condition and the only safe way of dealing with narcissists is to give them a very wide berth.

I've always said to people, we needed this type of Labour government to wake people up and they're waking up en masse. Labour is the best free recruitment drive for ReformUK in Britain. One of my many issues with Labour, is the billions being wasted on net zero. Every time I point out, even if the UK went net zero (impossible won't happen) climate change will continue. The climate always changes, has been hotter in the past, has been colder also, we literally have a thing called the Carbon Cycle. We need to adapt, use that money to build bigger flood defences, bigger drains and natural runs offs to prevent flooding, desalination plants for dry periods. Invest in lower class areas. The money Ed miliband is sending overseas for net zero is criminal, that's tax payers money. Shouldn't be acceptable by any news network. GB energy again will mean more foreign investment, which is already rotting Britains infostructure. Seriously 9million+ voters have a lot to reflect on, because you lot gave us this shameful government.

Having followed politics since the late seventies, Claire is right, I have never seen an incoming Govt so woefully under prepared and letting in so many own goals. The trouble is they are ALL inexperienced in business, they have employed staff who are gormless & no one is steering the ship and unless we are very careful we will hit that iceberg.
