Deluded and suffering from incredible hubris .... he's right there were a lot of people who didn't want Labour in 80% of them to be precise, he gained a landslide on only 20% of the available votes purely because of our broken First Past the Post system. As for dealing with the most pressing problems facing this country, sending billions abroad, including to Brazil one of the ten wealthiest countries in the world is NOT dealing with the problems in the UK. Less than 18%, really, if you count the people who were eligible to vote but didn't bother to register. The FPTP system is designed to beat populists and create a more nuanced and balanced government. It's not a bad system. Pure representative democracy is a bad system.

His response was that it’s probably people who didn’t vote labour in the last election that are signing this. Whilst that may be partially true, I’m sure there’s a significant number of people who voted labour who are completely disillusioned by what they have done in the last four months and are signing because they have broken their promises. I've signed it, but let's be honest, with a majority like they've got it won't make a blind bit of difference. Like it or not, we're stuck with them for the next five years.
