Very Nice and Genuine Words from Ordinary Indian Women. There is nothing wrong in using any references they may have or to quote. Whether it is Indian Muslim or Indian Christian they are Genetically Indian, they understand it well. They understand their Roots(Genealogy/Biology). In simple words, they see themselves in the Mirror!!! It clearly shows they are not Asian(blinking eyes, Arabs, African, Anglo-Saxon.) Their Culture, Values and Beliefs are deeply rooted. There is nothing wrong in each one of them. I appreciate all of them. They are Unique in itself. So do Indian, either Family Values or Educational Values. Tks.

National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) and there is no National Curriculum Network but we have National Curriculum Framework i.e. NCF 2005 from NCERT.

Keith You also need to visit some private schools in North India like In Delhi you must visit dps( Delhi public schools) amity international school because Indian middle class 99% are sending them there and they would give you accurate data and an insight of education in India. If you read this and plan to come to India again try and visit these schools.

hahaha is she reading from some syllabus? the moral character of a child entirely depends on each individuals given environment and family background. School's job is to get fees and make sure kids score high in school exams. Christian school will promote Christianity, Hindu school promotes Hinduism... and so on. All these are based on the management and of course bonded legally with the guidance of NCERT in order to run a school. Normally Government school will again have its own moral studies and religious study based on the management too. Its all generally taken in exam point of view. Education in general is based on the pressure and prevailing competition. Unfortunately most of the childrens have no options to stay free. Parents can hit or punish their children if they don't do well in schools unlike american parents. Lets be practical and accept the reality plz.

No no you are wrong...for knowing India you have to visit India once. It's not so that Christian schools only promote Christianity, I studied in a missionary school in North India...we definitely use to have English prayers in the morning but never we were forced to visit churches or do masses...we too have moral science classes where Christian children had to study catechism but hindu children were just meant to read moral stories books and lessons with no advocacy of Christianity. I left my missionary school after class 10th and did my high schools from an Anglovedic school in India popularly known as the DAV's. There every Wednesday nd Saturday we used to have hawans and vedic mantras chanting..with Prasads given to every children irrespective of their religion and any Muslim or Christian student if they didn't want to be involved in the hawan or the worship then no problem with it. India is a big country, one part doesn't define the whole India actually its more an Indian subcontinent bcoz with the states the language and culture starts changing but the core Indian value is same from Ladakh to Kanyakumari.
