@@paulericn.mouafo6610 Sometimes it gets frustrating and it makes me feel really that some people are being deeply manipulated into believing all kinds of nonsense. But prayer is deep, I've noticed that most people will back up from having a conversation about the truth of our doctrine or will never acknowledge it, i also find that most people have a problem with the word catholic, not the tradition as they don't harass Anglicans, Lutherans or episcopalians for having similar rites we do and admitting it, their problem comes when the word catholic is included. And it's not like they actually know what we believe in, their resources are their non catholic pastor or someone that is in their church that was barely Chatequized. Like this person that told me Baptism is not important for salvation because the bible says so, but when I asked him about confession and presented the verses, he took a non fundamentalists view and said that Jesus never told the apostles they could forgive sins, that he meant that verse was about spreading the gospel 😬 I pray for them, a lot, and try to not get mad at the ones that insult me, and be a tool and support for those that are open to learn or want to convert. Keith is one of the best inspirations i have, sometimes God doesn't need us to do anything more than planting a seed and leave, only him can do the rest

That’s so true and sad that some Catholics don’t even know about their church teachings. Some are intimidated by other co workers because I’ve seen it and happened to me. Some don’t know how to respond or say something ( my mom took to church but I don’t go). I have been curious all my life why other people believe and think so many (not nice) things about the True Christ funded church. I’ve learn more and more and if I hear anyone, I just step up and explain whatever the discussion it’s about, without confrontation. You’re getting so good on explaining, I thank you for that. As someone born Catholic, went to Catholic school all my school years (except university), left the church and came back, I will tell you exactly why ppl leave. It's the infestation of post-modernist, realitivist, new age philosophy, that has been normalized in the culture. This, plus our parents depend way too much on mass and school to educate us completely on the faith. The 3rd reason is this false modern rhetoric that faith and science are incompatible. The last reason is this false practice of free will where people think "I was raised Catholic, therefore I won't be anymore because I must do a 180° turn to express my true freedom" (this last reason did not apply to me as much).

Thank you Keith. One thing I remember from a Father he said for us to ask people who were Catholics and now they are not to ask: If you are a person who reads the Bible, Can you tell me what Genesis 3,15 teaches or talked about. after reading this chapter, now let see who is that woman. Isaías 7,14 Mathew 1,23 Luck 1,26 Apocalypse 12.1 Now that you know who the woman is, tell me what do you know about Catholicism? Because if you were Catholic you can tell me why Catholics believe that the Eucharist IS THE BODY IF CHRIST? Also if you were catholic can you tell me the difference between the 10 commencements and the Sacraments? I think Instead of saying “when I was a catholic I was this or that” they should say: “ I was Catholic but since I did not know my faith I left. * I never live my Catholic faith * I never practiced my Catholic Faith”. Hope one day we all can be reunited as he wanted us to be. Love you and respect you all 🙏🏻📿📿📿

@keith nester, it's so true-- what first drew me to the Catholic faith was not an apologetics argument, but the genuine and vibrant faith of my Catholic brothers and sisters. It seemed that they had something I didn't, which as an evangelical Protestant seemed inconceivable! That was the beginning of my journey, and after much study and prayer I am overjoyed to see God leading me home to the Catholic Church. Martin Luther was a Catholic priest who talks about the Church as an angry ex spouse. He was kicked out for he attempted to change the historic teachings of the Church about the Bread of Life, the Eucharist. From this, Jesus prophesied a conversation with Protestants as shown in Matt 7:21-23: "Not every one that saith to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven: but he that doth the will of my Father who is in heaven, he shall enter into the kingdom of heaven. [22] Many will say to me in that day: Lord, Lord, have not we prophesied in thy name, and cast out devils in thy name, and done many miracles in thy name? [23] And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, you that work iniquity." Clearly, Jesus does not consider them His followers, nor to be Christians. They had never ate the Bread of Life, the Body of Christ. He never dwelled in them nor they in Him that is why He says "I never knew you" How sad for them...to have eyes but do not see; to have ears but do not hear the Truth. If you are not Catholic you are not Christian, says the Lord.

@@vrscuteri Hi Victor, Try re-reading John 3:16 knowing that the word "believe" or as you wrote "believeth" is a verb and not, as taught in many Protestant circles, as only an adjective. In Aramaic, the language Jesus spoke, the word is clearly a verb. That means that it is a doing word. Now read Matthew 7:21-23 again and you will see that it is not just having a belief in Jesus. It is Believing in Jesus which is doing what Jesus/God commands. This applies to other verses you may know as well. Knowing this will change how you read the bible. Hope this helps. God Bless.

@alray Your right. Christ established one church. And that church consists of every human that has put their faith in Jesus Christ and surrendered there life to Him. It has nothing to do with what church you belong to. Only God fully knows the heart and only He can and will save you when He sees a sincere surrendered heart. No amount of religious rituals by mortal men can ever surrender a persons heart to Jesus. It is a personal decision between you and Him.

Every protestant believes that historical lie, every single one because they’re taught it from the time their children. I was a lifelong protestant and can’t attest to it. I’m struggling to evangelize my family and friends who all are deeply entrenched in this lie. They don’t care that there’s no historical evidence, they all pridefully “must” believe it’s true otherwise they have to admit they’ve been fighting against the true church of Jesus Christ their whole life. Any protestants who actually study church history, and if they truly love Christ, join his Church and become Catholic. Period.

I learned a long time ago, from reading former Anglican John Newman no less, that to study church history, and honestly interpret the results, is to be Catholic. Drawing upon this, then anyone who does not honestly study church history is in error about their Christian beliefs. This error will lead to false ideas about Catholics concerning Mary, purgatory, the pope, the sacraments, idolatry, the communion of saints, etc. Oh, and these ideas are in part in about 38,000 Christian denominations which separated from Catholicism, separations caused by men such as Luther, Calvin, Wesley, et al. Does anyone want to follow these men and their churches, or would you rather follow the church founded directly by Jesus? Protestant denominations do indeed contain pieces of Christian truth, pieces of Catholicism, but are at best incomplete. I (maybe naively) trust that they are in their own way honest about wanting to be true Christians, but are just ignorant about church history. I do not think ignorance is heretical, but dishonesty is.

I believe that each person must freely choose for their self what to believe and what not to believe and that our belief eventually becomes our reality. I was raised Catholic but read in the Bible (at the age of 21 yrs) that if one will confess with their mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in their heart that God raised Him from the dead, they will be saved (Romans 10:9). I was disappointed that I had never been told this in the Catholic Church. I felt that I had to choose the Bible or the Catholic Church so I left Catholicism. I believe that it was the right choice for me. Blessings to all.

You wouldn’t have left the richness of the spiritual life of the CC if you had understood her teachings. Sola Scriptura rebutted 2 Peter 1 20-21 the bible can’t interpret itself Sola fide rebutted James 2 20-24 Protestantism heretical Rom 16 17-18 Thus if one uses the language of the Bible, one would say that “a man is justified by faith apart from works of the Law . . . not by faith alone . . . for faith apart from works is dead . . . but faith working through love” (Rom. 3:28, Jas. 2:24, 26, Gal. 5:6). When Protestants claim the unbiblical Faith alone mantra, they typically ignore Mt 25 31-45 with its emphasis on good works! Usual selective biblical cherry picking! No organisation, such as Protestantism can survive without hierarchy & a unifying authoritative interpreter, the fruits being confusion, division & scandal of 000’s of sects, resulting from personal interpretation, which is not of Jesus who willed unity Jn 17 11-21 No Protestant has ever been able to explain why personal interpretation, if guided by the Holy Spirit has resulted in 000’s sects proving that either the Holy Spirit is wrong or more likely, Protestantism! There are none so blind as those with a darkened intellect which the Holy Spirit obviously isn’t enlightening!

@@geoffjs Who do you think is being referred to here as the rock of salvation, the cornerstone of the church, Jesus or Peter?…Psalms 118:20-22 (KJV) This gate of the Lord, into which the righteous shall enter. I will praise thee: for thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation. The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner. Matthew 16:17-18 (KJV) And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. Sadly many Protestants do misunderstand Rome, for that reason they don't reject it strongly enough. Many RCs don't understand Rome either. They accept that a man who says Atheists can go to heaven is there replacement for Christ in earth. Yes the Pope said it, yes that is what Vicar of Christ means. Thankfully any sensible person can just look at history and see the awfulness of Rome with its awful lines of wicked Popes and all the heretics it contained and defended and make an informed choice. I'm accursed according to your cult, I'm happy to be so very unlike it that it freely curses me.

Read the Nicene Creed drafted and approved by the Magisteria in 325AD. It expands on the Apostles Creed to provide a more complete understanding of Catholics belief, but In complete harmony with the original Apostles Creed. The Nicene Creed was drafted to remove any doubt about our belief in the triune God and other specifics that the apostles believed in, all with the intention of fighting numerous heresies. Both the Apostles Creed and the Nicene Creed along with the 10 Commandments toitally define what Catholics believe. Nothing dogmatically different for 2000 years.

If that’s the case about the ten commandments, then why did the Jews and the eastern church all keep the 10 commandments as they were? From my understanding, when Moses came down from the mount and had the two tablets that were placed in the ark, they were set up like they are for every other church. This possibly seems trivial to you, but it’s a deal breaker for me and I’m not a believer in coincidence. The 2nd commandment was about idol worship. Even the Eastern church has it the traditional way. I’m not trying to harangue you bud, I just really cringe at this and have a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach about that.

Catholicism combined the 2nd Commandment, the prohibition against worshipping false gods, idols & images, with the 1st Commandment, with Protestants implying the Catholics removed it, another satanic tactic & not of God! To confirm, Catholics only worship God as per the 1st Commandment. Protestantism then combined the 9th & 10th Commandments which Catholicism regards as two, clearly separating not coveting thy neighbours wife & not coveting thy neighbour’s goods. What female would agree to been included with goods in the Protestants 10th Commandment. Clearly a Protestant blatant, devious tactic, they can’t win a fair rational debate.

Have you ever tried Adoration? I think that if you went to a Catholic Church that has an Adoration Chapel and just sat there asking for Jesus Christ to help you understand this then he will. You might have to whisper it to him or say it in your mind. Silent prayer is the best way to get his attention. The Eucharist is the body and blood of Christ. So you are going straight to him in the Adoration Chapel. If you receive The Eucharist as a Catholic during mass you are having Jesus Christ directly in you and with you. So come straight to him since you prefer doing things that way.

Joseph took care of Mary from Nazareth to Jerusalem and then to Egypt for Mary and baby Jesus..and back to Nazareth from Egypt. He and Mary raised and taught Jesus on scriptures (Old Testament) and some wood work of course. Should we not be grateful too for those Saints' contribution in Christianity? They are our brothers and sisters in heaven. They, along with all martyred apostled and disciples, are with God the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Mary is our mother when Jesus before he died on the cross handing over His mom to the beloved disciple saying, "Behold your mother" and then handing over the beloved disciple to his mom saying, "Behold your son." ====== Do you consider yourself one of Jesus' beloved disciples? There will be no more death, pain or sorrow on earth, Revelation 21:4,5! No more wickedness on earth, Psalms 145:29! After Armageddon the meek will inherit the earth and live forever on it, Psalms 37:29! Remember the beatitude, blessed are 5 he meek for they shall inherit the earth, Matthew 5:5! Proverbs 2:21,22! The earth will be cultivated into a Paradise like God intended in the beginning, Genesis 1:27; Isaiah 55:11! Jesus will do on a grand scale what he did when he walked the earth including raising those who are asleep in death, John 5:28,29! There will only be one government over the entire earth, God's Kingdom government, Daniel 2:44! Jesus said that this good news of the Kingdom would be preached about in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come, Matthew 24:14! Soon Jesus will make sure that God's Will is done on earth as it is in heaven, will you be there to see it? John 5:22-24; John 17:3; Isaiah 42:8!

If you understood the richness & Truth of the CC you would never have left! Purgatory The concept of Purgatory does exist in Scripture which is very clear when it says, “But nothing unclean shall enter [heaven]” (Rev. 21:27). Hab. 1:13 says, “You [God]… are of purer eyes than to behold evil and cannot look on wrong…” How many of us will be perfectly sanctified at the time of our deaths? I dare say most of us will be in need of further purification in order to enter the gates of heaven after we die, if, please God, we die in a state of grace. Purgatory can be supported by II Maccabees 12:39-46, we discover Judas Maccabeus and members of his Jewish military forces collecting the bodies of some fallen comrades who had been killed in battle. When they discovered these men were carrying “sacred tokens of the idols of Jamnia, which the law forbids the Jews to wear” (vs. 40), Judas and his companions discerned they had died as a punishment for sin. Therefore, Judas and his men “turned to prayer beseeching that the sin which had been committed might be wholly blotted out… He also took up a collection… and sent it to Jerusalem to provide for a sin offering. In doing this he acted very well and honorably… Therefore he made atonement for the dead, that they might be delivered from their sin.” This may be why Luther removed Macabees from his bible & was tempted to do the same with the book of James Luke 12 35-48 servants rewarded/punished in varying ways 1 Jn 5 16-18 refers to deadly & deadly sin ie mortal & venial. For some Protestants to say that all sin is sin and to not differentiate between mortal sin like adultery and venial sin like stealing a dollar is illogical & a poor understanding Confession is in the bible Jn 20:23 Not for the purpose of scoring points, but with Christian charity uppermost in my mind, can’t you see the fallacy & errors of Protestantism which, with “many truths”, has contributed to the development of relativism - man made by Luther & his fellow heretics, not sustainable - you have an incomplete bible - if you are anti Catholic, why hypocritically use the bible that the CC codified in 382 - based on the flawed cornerstone of sola Scriptura - personal interpretation has resulted in the splintering of 000’s of sects - no hierarchy & no unifying authoritative interpreter, causes chaos - Faith alone & OSAS are not biblical not tolerant of Catholics reject the bible when it suits you eg Jn 6 no agreement on baptism Protestantism, with its flawed sola Scriptura teachings has a very narrow view as the bible was codified in 382 & only became mass printed in the 16th century & even then, most people were illiterate so, sola Scriptura was unworkable for at least 1500 yrs. People relied on Sacred Tradition, which existed from the time of Christ & complements Sacred Scripture under the unifying authoritative interpretation of the Magisterium, a reliable, stable 3 Legged stool. Remember also that the bible says that it doesn’t contain everything Jn 21:25 such as the words bible & Trinity. All Catholic teaching is biblical, either implicitly or explicitly No organisation, such as Protestantism can survive without hierarchy & a unifying authoritative interpreter, the fruits being confusion, division & scandal of 000’s of sects, resulting from personal interpretation, which is not of Jesus who willed unity Jn 17 11-21 No Protestant has ever been able to explain why personal interpretation, if guided by the Holy Spirit has resulted in 000’s sects proving that either the Holy Spirit is wrong or more likely, Protestantism! There are none so blind as those with a darkened intellect which the Holy Spirit obviously isn’t enlightening!

@@geoffjs There is a great deal to unpack in your commentary. The Catholic Concept of Purgatory does not "Clearly" exist in GOD' Word and saying it does, doesn't make it True. Rev 21:27 "But nothing unclean will ever enter it (Heaven) nor anyone who does what is detestable or False but only those who are written in the Lambs Book of Life." This passage speaks clearly of the Lambs Book of Life, a Divine Journal of names of those who, GOD has chosen to save. who therefore, possess Eternal Life. I see nothing, no less clearly (as you stated) that is in the Word of GOD (Scripture) that speaks or even hints of a Purgatory, a necessary cleansing stop before entering Heaven. Unlike every other corrupt Religion in this World, our Scripture was written to the sheep and not to an Authority to tell us what to believe , as is the case in Islam. What is most disturbing and concerning, is Catholic Doctrinal Belief, that the Sacrifice of Jesus the Christs death on the Cross was insufficient for Salvation. That limits Jesus Christ' Sacrifice, Power and Authority, a Heresy of profound proportions. Catholics must also, believe, to be consistent that, Jesus was mistaken when, The Christ told the Thief on the Cross , he would be with him in Paradise. Luke 23: 42-43. "Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise." Paradise is where believers will be with Jesus after death. Paradise is Heaven, not some fictional stop along the way; Purgatory. We all know why the Catholic Church created Purgatory, a second bite of the Heaven Apple. They made a fortune selling Indulgences to the Wealthy to absolve past sins and releasing those wealthy sinners from Purgatory. Indulgences is still on the Catholic Books (Catechism) however it is no longer practiced. If it was the Church would no longer exist. You list Maccabees 2: 39-46. Throughout the Middle Ages there was sufficient doubt and hesitation about the deuterocanonical scriptures of which Maccabees was apart. These books were never included in the Hebrew Bible, Tanakh and is not canonical in Judaism. These books are correctly considered Apocrypha. Jesus the Christ never quoted, hinted or referenced anything in these books. By the time Jesus began his three year Ministry the Septuagint had been in circulation and practice for more than a Century and Jesus cited Old Testament texts dozens of times in his teaching yet he never quoted, hinted or referenced any of these apocryphal texts. The author of Maccabees and these other books, is unknown, making these books unqualified for canonization and correctly so! Confession is presented in Scripture however, where exactly in Scripture is it permissible, for a Priest to "forgive sin" in the confessional? This isn't a joke yet, Catholics actually believe their Sins have been washed away. Only GOD has that Power and Authority, unless you also believe that the Priest can read minds? Yes, I know there are Scriptures where GOD has clearly told us to confess to one another, however, it is an unacceptable stretch to Have Priests actually, Forgiving Sin in the Confessional, simply by reciting The Hail Mary several times or etc, etc, etc? This is pure deceit by Heretics. The so called Confessional must never be a cheap justification for Sin! Sola Scriptura: You are absolutely correct, Sola Scripturea was a creation of man, as It has no Historical Context but an implied Scriptural Basis, however, even if it didn't, it wouldn't matter. Sola Scriptura is a methodology, akin to the Scientific Method; A means for establishing through Evidence, that something is either Fallacious (False) or Truth (Factual). It simply acknowledges that the word of GOD is Inerrant (Factual) Truth!. The Scientific Method is sacrosanct in the Sciences and has been for over 600 years, having been developed and brought forward by Descartes. I wouldn't be surprised if Descartes ( 1596 - 1650) got that Idea and Inspiration from Luther ( 1483 - 1546). Read Descartes "Discourse on method" in which he proposes a Proof for GOD' Existence. No one would ever consider criticizing or rejecting the Scientific Method, so why would you reject the carbon copy standard of Sola Scriptura, Christ Alone, Grace Alone, Faith Alone, Scripture alone is the Sole "Infallible" Source of Authority for Christian Faith and Practice? I would be more than uneasy at Judgment to explain, why I believed in many Doctrines and or Doctrinal Practices that had no Basis in GOD' Word, which was more than Sufficient. If you have another Infallible Source, please present it; Anything less is purely man inspired and created. The Catholic Church Standard for Truth is the Magisterium, Hierarchy of the Authority of the Pope and Bishops etc "all fallible men". A brief review of Current and Ancient Church History will prove their Disgusting Fallibility. Your Authority and three short weeks after the 2023 Synod, approved "Blessing of Gay Couples." Doesn't sound like Christs Church to me! Bishops and others are afraid, that the POPE will approve women Priests shortly after the 2024 Synod. There currently is a huge shortage of Parish Priests throughout the U.S. Bishops and others are afraid based on Evidence. The Pope appointed 66 radicals, that have equal voting power in the 2023 Synod. A first in the 2,000 years of the Catholic Church History, having non-religious, voting on Serious Church issues. Tradition is the foundation of the Catholic Faith. All Scripture must be interpreted through the lens of Tradition, a pure example of a man created Doctrine! That is a powerful creation by the Fallen. Why do we assume that what men did 2,000 years ago was Truth, unless there is also evidence by an Infallible Source, GOD.? Were they Infallible and Moral human beings? Don't think so and Jesus didn't think so either. Christ set the example for the Church Authority to follow. Throughout his three year ministry, Jesus viciously attacked the Pharisees and tangentially the Sadducee' for their Over the Top Traditions, Rules, Regulations, Doctrines and Doctrinal Practices, that served to undermine and destroy the Christs Church. Such attacks were the Dominate, Clear Rationale for their Hatred of Jesus, a clear challenge to their Power and Authority, that demanded his Crucifixion. The Catholic Church in my intellectual experience and opinion has ironically become the Parasitical Equivalent to the Pharisees, who Crucified Jesus, the Christ. Don't take me wrong. I'm not attacking you or anyone attending a Catholic Church. All of my family and some friends were powerfully against my leaving the Catholic Faith. It matters little, what church you attend. What does matter is, your relationship with GOD, Jesus the Christ and the Holy Spirit. I spent 20+ years attending the Catholic Church. I didn't go to church for the Church but only to give GOD, Jesus and the Holy Spirit my Love, Appreciation, Worship, and Fidelity to GOD' Word, which they Richly Deserved. Doctrine, Dogma and Tradition had no meaning to me, until I began reading Scripture, studying the Catechism of the Roman Catholic Church and Catholic Church History. Disgust would be an understatement. I'm not talking about the hundreds of sexual misconducts, we have witnessed over the last three decades, but the massive amount of Immoral, Evil and Bloody Actions taken by Church Authority from day one,! It powerfully demonstrated that this was not Christ' Church. Read about Catholic Church history, written by a Historian and not a Bias Catholic Apologist, who will leave the worst of the worst out of their presentation. The naked Truth demonstrates just how Non-Christian and Immoral the Catholic Church was in every Century. Read about William Tyndale and how the Church Authority tracked him down and executed him without a trial for the Serious Crime of Printing the First Bible, so all the "sheep could read Scripture". That was 1536, a mere 488 years ago. The masses,. Sheep, relied on the corrupt Authorities for over 1,500 years yet, Tradition dominates the Catholic Faith?

what would you say about the church today with Pope Francis and him embracing all the pagan religions, how about his stance on salvation to all even if they have not been born again? How could this be the true church, when through out the ages it has added teachings, that the apostles never taught? I was raised in the church, my father was a lay minister. I'd ask my father questions and I received "because that's the way it is". When we lost our son and his best friend to a car wreck, we seen the church turn their back on us, but the other family was treated so much differently. We were both Catholic families but the priest showed favoritism. Which is against Gods word. I've always had a hard time believing that the Roman Catholic church is the first church after seeing first hand the things it's done and the attitude of those who fill the pews. You talk about cults, if you look at Mormons or Jehovah witnesses and the SDA they all use extra books, just like the Roman Catholic church. Gods church is those who are born again through repentance, being baptized, regenerated by the Holy Spirit and obeying His word, enduring in faith unto the end. I agree with you that the protestant church has it's problems also, I am just seeking the Lord for His truth and pray for all who truly love the Lord.

Protestantism is man made, is false & heretical Sola Scriptura rebutted 2 Peter 1 20-21 the bible can’t interpret itself Sola fide rebutted James 2 20-24 Protestantism heretical Rom 16 17-18 Thus if one uses the language of the Bible, one would say that “a man is justified by faith apart from works of the Law . . . not by faith alone . . . for faith apart from works is dead . . . but faith working through love” (Rom.
