Water poured on the road doesn't cause any harm. In Moscow, tractors go round spreading water almost all the time to keep them wet. The defense have no clue blaming water as a cause of our bad roads. Government needs to do more for the citizens, let's have good roads, the country will be a better place with it. ✌

1. When the roads were built did the government account for the number or type of vehicles that will travel on the road. 2. How have the roads been maintained since 1989? 3. People help the govt. by paying their taxes. It’s the job of the government to provide the basic necessities (roads, hospitals, schools etc.,) that enables folks to engage in commerce that enhances the lives of all in the community. 4. The State must be held accountable so that it does what is right. Some compensation should have been awarded to the people. Well done guys.

Stupid lawyer!!! How the heck must the taxpayer contribute to communal labor against their will? Are the citizens equipped with the right tools to engage in this endeavour? Forget the tools. When the government commissions the renovation or building of roads, it behooves them to employ professionals not the unskilled citizenry with a layman’s perspective. What’s the government doing with the taxes that the citizens pay? Just as when the school system made my fellow school mates and I weed and sweep the school compound, a job reserved for janitors. My parents paid my fees to get an education not to offer janitorial duties. The same applies here. When citizens pay taxes, it’s the government’s constitutional duty to provide amenities like schools, hospitals and roads. The judge did a great job!!!

People can't pay tax and do the job the same tax was meant to be doing, however we have the responsibily to take of whatever is given to us from the government because is our money they use to do those thing so we have to take of it like we would do with the tv, cars, phones we buy. If that doesn't work the government should form strict rules that comes with punishment so the roads and other properties of the country can be properly maintained.
