100% i remember getting to see them live as a little kid in either the late 90s or very early 00's when they came through, and having to wait through the whole show to see this as the finale. You could see the lid wall hidden in the shadows, so you knew it was there, but you had to wait the whole show for it haha

One of the things that I really like about Stomp is that there is no dialog, so it is easy to for everyone to follow the performance regardless of what language they speak. Music and rhythm is universal!

This was the grand finale act on STOMP live on Broadway in San Francisco. Seeing this live was an unforgettable, EPIC experience. I wanted to get up there and bang things with them so bad. lol They even provided drumsticks for the audience so we could join in, hitting the back of the seats!

Back in 2003, my music teacher lent me this Stomp video to watch at home. Didn't think much of it but my let me tell you, my mind was blown by this amazing organised noise!!! I watched the whole video for like a week before giving it back to her🤣🤣🤣🤣 Loved it so much that I saw Stomp on two separate birthdays lol!

This group is greatly unique in instrument style and improv as well. Not only did I see this video in 1st grade, but on April 21, 2018, I had the awesome opportunity to see Stomp live in Boston. That was once in a lifetime. When I saw them live, they were just as good then as in this video . After 12+ years, they still got it! If they come do a show near you, you don’t want to miss it!

I see it too! I think it's because the musicians are dressed in an Urban style in a slums kind of setting. It looks almost apocalyptic. Dreadlocks, bald heads, baggy pants, utility boots, suspenders, etc. They were going for a bit of a look of poverty...but cool poverty. xD
