Great video cap!!! Just got my Pmr 30, going to put some rounds through it make sure everything is good. You could also >gently< run a popsicle stick in the grooves of the grip to make it seat well in the textured molding.

Pretty cool. I just cut a piece of bike inner tube and slipped that on the grip. Stays put. Works pretty well.

I use the Hogue handall grip. Even as large that the grip seems the Hogue doesn't add much width but fills my palm nicely. Feels amazing to shoot

Heck yes, great idea. The PMR 30 is so light, I always caution others to be very careful when introducing youth or inexperienced shooters to this great firearm. A great grip, instills confidence and safe handling. Kel Tec is always so thorough and educational in all of their posts! 👍👋😷🎯🇺🇸🍀💉

After you complete the installation of those rubberized grips, make sure to run a razor blade Along The Parting line so you are not going to ruin them when you have to take it apart to service it. I'm actually going to cut them in half before installation and leave a slight Gap at The Parting line just so I'm certain not to pull up on the edges when I take it apart to service it.

That was going to be my comments also. If you leave it as is you basically have to destroy the grip to do a complete takedown. I like your suggestion about running an exacto along the seams.

I bought a competition upgraded used pmr 30 with this kind of grip tape and I like it very much but the heat treat was not done now that I have seen this video i will be doing this also, thanks for the vid.

Will adding these modifications void my Kel Tec warranty? They said yes when asked about a spring change. The maunal says no unauthorized modifications but it does not say WHO needs to autnorize it, them or the owner.

Joe Ginsu It will not void the warranty. KEL TEC installs these parts at the factory. $40 flat rate install. Talk to Sean or Scott at KEL-TEC

So I suppose that if you want to disassemble the entire gun including grip you will need to cut the front and back with a with a razor blade in order to separate the halves and not destroy the grips in order to take the gun apart?

@@MCARBO But the rubberized grip cover would prevent the lower frame from splitting apart as designed by the manufacturer. Would you then need to cut the rubber with a razor? or reheat the grip to peel it off and then re-apply it?

You take it apart when put the grip on it say you put your grip on something goes wrong with the gun or you want to put a better trigger in it or red rap I guess you better up grade it first this would be the last thing you do after you up grade thanks alot all the stuff you came out with going to be getting all of it for my new Kel TEC 30
