With a million immigrants this last year and more coming it is not so obvious to everyone that unnwanted touching is assault. Mike Graham seems oblivious to this and assumes everyone has his sense of morality.

I cant agree that common sense is emerging! The latest nonsense by the Police College is to recommend that Rape Victims are not cross examined. In essence this is a return to the “must be believed” era. It is a tenant of British common law that an accused has a right to a fair trial and full disclosure! We have instances of women crying wolf, we see accused being paraded to the mob before any investigation! Rape is vile but it has to be treated as an offence compatible with any other transgression of the law!

@@sarahlogan942 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 you do realise he dragged her through the courts after signing a contract saying there was no mutual abuse and neither party would talk about it publicly. Then dragged her to the US to a televised trial to repeat repeat she'd said in a closed court in the UK, because she didn't want it to be made public. He used the courts to continue to abuse her. He's the exact example of why they want to stop allowing cross examining of women subjected to rape by these men.

It's ridiculous that there are those accused whose identities are made public *EVEN* before they have been charged with anything. Cliff Richard was a perfect example. Anyone should have the right to anonymity when it has not been made clear that there is sufficient evidence to bring a case of prosecution against them. The law needs to be changed so it can be as fair and impartial in dealing with such cases.

The approach most often taken by the police now is the line of least resistance. Charge and let the courts decide. I think that's the only way they can navigate their duty in investigating often delicate situations but it's clearly got its risks in terms of potential miscarriages of justice.

Unfortunately, on JD vs AH, this is where Kellie is incorrect. Common sensec would tell you AH is the vicktem. She should know what it's like to be on the receiving end of a media campaign constructed to reverse offender and vicktem.
@ashbash635 Жыл бұрын
Unfortunately you are the one who is incorrect. If you research this case all the way back to the beginning and all the public records and evidence is available online. Research it properly and you will find AH was a toxic narcissist who verbally, physically and mentally abused JD. She then launched a public campaign where she misrepresented herself as a victim. There are provable demonstrative lies from beginning to end from AH. There is a wealth of evidence that prove Depp was physically attacked and ended up in hospital and AHs own words prove her abusive behavior. Men can be victims too.

Common sense is prevailing in the Depp vs Heard case. It's time that all abusers be held accountable regardless if male or female and in this case it happens to be a woman who abused a man. It happens. It's ridiculous to think women cannot be abusers.
@sheilaoreilly6826 Жыл бұрын
It's also ridiculous to think women are a significant group of abusers when the data shows men are consistently in the high 80% to high 90% of perpetrators of domestic violence and sexual assault/rape across most, if not all, countries in the world.

Come on are we not going to talk about the elephant in the room. We have to have signs tell people about touching because we have people from other parts of the world living in the UK that see women as second class citizens, in their little brains women should all be grateful for their attention. This has reminded me of the modern remake of Alice in Wonderland. It exemplifies the current obsession of sexualising everything. There was many shots of barely restrained heaving bussom, bum shots, adult sighing and more. If you want to watch porn, just watch it, but don't make everything sexual! Alice in Wonderland WAS a charming imaginative adventure purely to delight children, leave it alone!

Posey Parker is a jokey play-on-words online handle derived from “nosey parker”. I’ve seen it cause a bit of confusion with some because it resembles the name of the American actress Parker Posey. Whether she initially used it because of the sensitivities surrounding her activism or simply because a colourful pseudonym is common practice online, I can’t say.
