This collection makes me think of the jelly sandals you would wear as a kid. I love it so much. Also, they would be the perfect base for nail stamping! I would love to try them out. I do hope Sinful Color makes more of these for a Fall/Winter collection. It would be so nice.

I do NOT know how you apply your polish so perfectly! Your edges are so very even and every coat lands exactly on top of the one before-it's like watching magic! I'm getting better, but don't think I'll ever be as good as you! 🙂

Back in the 90s I worked at Walgreens and Sinful Colors was one of the first brands to do more unique (at the time) colors. I feel like they've always pushed the boundaries. I'm still mad at Walgreens for not carrying them anymore.

I always admire the diversity of your nail polish preferences. I tend to prefer loud colors and eye catching finishes (lots of Holo and sparkles). It usually surprises people because my clothing style is much more comfy tomboy. I like how nude shades and sheer polishes looks on others, but don’t like them on myself. My nail line is also different for almost all of my nails so even if I did prefer sheer styles, I would think they look odd on my nails. I am however, like you, happy that Sinful Colors is open to experimenting with different styles and finishes. 😁

I'm the same way. I basically only wear black and grey with some pops of color, and almost always jeans and a t-shirt, but I love having nails that really stand out.

If you ever run out of or can't get the topcoat, you can get the same finish by mixing half and half matte and a regular topcoat. I personally use the WnW matte with Sally Hansen Quick dry (the red bottle). Super easy to do if you are half down on either one. I find the WnW matte to be my fav so far and the quick dry, even diluted like this, still makes it dry way faster. I don't know what other combos would work, it is mixing formulas and all, but I don't see why any two would straight up not work though. Just one of those experiment things you can do, maybe get some of those tiny bottles or use some empty topcoat bottles to mix smaller amounts with to start or even mix one nail worth at a time on a nail art mat or glass surface.

It's interesting seeing this matte finish on jelly polishes since jellies are usually so high shine and squishy, but I like it! I will be scouring my local Wal-Mart for these colors. Thanks for swatching!

It's so good seeing someone cheerlead for short nails. Usually I see apologies for short nails, but they look better to me. Sometimes I try to grow my nails a bit longer, but then get really frustrated with them and file the white right off. When I go short, I go short! Your hair looks awesome 🌈

Mine barely go past my fingertips... Kelli has been an excellent find for me because gras are just slightly longer. I can't have long fingernails and tickle my kids. :) I'm just not that talented!

i hate long nails. 😖 talons, claws, and how tf do you type or function??? for me, ideal is sticking out just a little out from the finger, just enough to create a little strip. though, i purposely cut mine shorter because even that is too long to be functional for a lot of what i do. typing, and forget martial arts because making a fist even with that longer one i described just digs into your palms. realized in college and cut them down to be functional and actually never went back. but just aesthetically i really don't like long nails at all, and the pointy ones make me shudder. 🕷🕸MAYBE if it was on a goth, and doing a whole mood, like complicated looking layers of outfit, okay. but everyday stuff? yuck. shudder. no offense to people who like it. just a personal pref for me. tho i do recognize a bigger palatte for nail art stuff is helpful. plus i think short gets stigmatized and have no idea why. let's just show love for everything and we can all have our likes and dislikes personally. more active girls (or any dudes) might have short out of necessity and that should be fine and celebrated too. or more typey folks might keep em short, too. i write, so i'd be trying to snap long ones off at the base, to get out of my way! 😂😅

I would love to see a collection in this finish with all nudes/neutrals! Those kinds of shades are so flattering on everyone if you can find your ideal "nude". Being sheer and with just that little pinch of sparkle, a collection like that would be perfect for any setting or if you just wanted a palate/palette cleanser.

Sinful used to be my go to brand! As you should know it's not about what Brand of polish you use, It's all about the base and most importantly the top coat you use! When they pulled out from the local drug stores that kind of put a hault to it. Walmart and Target are much further away!

personally i’m not really a fan of sheer polishes on myself, but this collection is definitely cute! also is that brush new?? last time i used sinful colors, there was a short, round brush and it was kinda hard to use and control so i wasn’t a fan of it. the brush in this video looks really nice!

The thing that stopped me from looking for Sinful Colors is that they made it so difficult to get a whole set. Even with the links you provided - the one for purchasing individuals offers 5 shades and the box set offers 6 but there are 8 shades in the collection. Why don't they make it so ALL the shades are available for purchase at once or atleast in one place? That being said this collection is jelly sandwich perfection! The possibilities....

These are so pretty! 😍. Not all the time sheer nail polishes look good on my nails, I mean have you seen them? 🤣 They are huge! But I love doing nail art over bare nails so I like those “your nails but better” sheer polishes. Also, these are great for nail art, sometimes you want a colored background but not so intense so the design can stand out ☺️

(Edit: The collection is a semi matte finish (like the tc) so makes more sense why they aren't a real matte...lol.) More like a satin matte not a chalkboard matte. I would put a glossy tc on it anyways. Really like this collection, so many things you can do with jellies.

Each their own but the only thing that could have completed the trifecta of my most hated nails would be if these were nude colors lol. Pretty colors but not into sheer or matte, though I liked the turquoise. Short nail club 👋 I play guitar so they have to be short on my fretting hand and I've often noted when someone's nails are too long to play guitar

Love this collection. Got them all back in March and I think I've used them at least 3 times since then, which is pretty spectacular considering how many other polishes on my shelves they have to compete with. Anyone who doesn't love jellies...try layering them with glitters or iridescent flakies. I did a skittle last week of these with Holo Taco unicorn skins and it was gorgeous.

lol so funny because I just painted one of my fingers with the turquoise color. I also have the blue and love doing a jelly skittle manicure. I put a unicorn skin from holo taco over 2 coats of the turquoise and it's so pretty ✨

I like the idea but didn’t like the sparkle (although the yellow looked ok with it). Would have loved to see the semi matte, or just the full on jelly but I agree I love seeing the crazy ideas they come up with!!

I'm not really into matte finishes but this semi matte/sheer combo is soooo nice! The subtle sparkle really gives it an extra something that makes them even more interesting. The green, turquoise and purple are my faves!

Kelli have you ever reviewed Nails Inc unicorn inspired duo nail polish? I've been looking everywhere for swatches of these two and some honest reviews because I see a lot of complaints about chipping and bad formula....but the shades look so good !

I feel you about keeping my nails on the short side. I have long nail beds anyway, so they kinda look "long" even if they're barely clearing my fingertips. Also, I have a pronounced c-curve and if they're the least bit long they feel like they're squeezing me.
