The rumor was many years ago that Twist and Shanny got in to a fight in a bar over Shanny sleeping with Janny's wife. It looks like that story is false, this is the real story.

I was sitting with 4 buds on a packed patio30 years ago. One of buddies went to the bathroom. A guy at a neighbouring table grabbed the empty chair to which I said oh that chair is taken. Expecting him to say sorry the guy said some earlier de stuff. I stood up and we were going to go toe to toe etc. he had 6 buddies and there were only 3 of us. Finally one of his buddies told him to chill and we all sit down. 1 minute later this huge guy walks over to me. In my mind I’m like oh crap this guy wants to go. Instead he says in a thick Aussie accent that he and his mates are a visiting rugby team in town. He said they saw the whole thing and that it was nice to see a buddy stick up for his mates. He then said if a fight we have broke out that he and his mates would have pounced on those guys. I thanks them and sent 2 pitchers over. As he left he glared at the other table of the chair stealer. They Almost crapped their pants. There were like 12 of these rugby players there.

I come from australia and played rugby league which is different from arrogant mainstream rugby union that these blokes would have played in the states glad you ice hockey players gave them a good kick up the bottom hahaaaa.
