She sounds incredible even when she does lower it. But her doing that is why her voice is better now at 42 than it was at 22 to protects her voice she babies her voice She continues to learn. But even pink I've heard Haley Williams say it as well you can't hit those notes every single time it almost impossible I think even also Demi Lovato these are all power singers who are trying to not lose their voice. And it's so true there are just mornings you wake up and it's not there that higher range just doesn't really feel like making noise at that point and the worst thing you can do is force it

Sometimes you DO notice the key change even if you aren't paying too much attention. It was super obvious in Behind These Hazel Eyes because not only she lowered the key, but she also didn't do octave jump she does in the studio version, so the sustained note fell into a middle part of her voice and it felt a littel bit anti-climatic. I do like it when she lowers the key but then does something different or unique to make up for it. And some songs had no business being so high to begin with, like Since U Been Gone. She always struggled with that note in that key.

I honestly don’t care about trying to hit those notes every single time i like the different tones it adds different feelings to the song and is true about what kelly said your voice is tired from singing soo much in three days or whatever… i mean try to karaoke for ten hours and see
