Due to safety reasons, they need the guests to be more concentrated on safely climbing the steps due to the wearing of heels and long dresses, than calculating a last photo op, because the steps are also carpeted. And as the copycat mental shows; if one person does it and wows the media, then more people will try to repeat it, but with a little extra. A guests slips, falls, and get injured, the Cannes organization gets hit with the lawsuit, and becomes responsible for the medical bill, pain, suffering, and lost wages.

Attempting to turn around and pose, with a long dress, and heels is a serious fall risk. Their job is to get the guests safely into the building. It has never been about stopping people from getting their photo opportunity in; that is done on the red carpet which is on level ground.

Cannes should come out with a public apology for Kelly. The guard was aggressively shooing Kelly up the stairs! She stepped on Kelly's dress and was close enough to touch her. It took a male security guard, a female friend walking next to Kelly, and Kelly herself to ask the female guard to back up !!! The male guard and Kelly's female friend had to physically touch the female guard to back up. The guard was being aggressive and was too close!!! Kelly Roland never causes any trouble and never displays entitled behavior! Every one can see what went on. Please research other videos to view the entire incident. The female guard clearly violated Kelly's personal boundaries! Period!!!
