Hedgehogs are sensitive animals. They go to defensive mode very easily, which is to say, they will curve up to a spiky ball. In Finland, we don't disturb them. We leave some milk in a bowl at the yard, and let them drink it when they feel comfortable enough to do so. We are one with the nature after all. Some foreigners are shocked when they are taken to a lonely cabin in the middle of the woods with no human or machine sounds anywhere to be heard, but us Finns we love it, and consider it a true holiday when we don't have to put it with noice and disturbing social interractions. When we can just be free to think our own thoughts and yell at the forrest all our frustrations.

I really don't think he thought it was venomous at all. It's pretty common knowledge that anacondas are constricters, not biters (yes, of course, they bite but it's not the part that kills). He was probably saying it to be silly. She was like "I don't need to touch him, Jim can touch him for both of us." So, she wasn't totally down with *every* creature Coyote brought in. Just keeping it real. She was down with everything but the giant snake. Even as that clip came to a close, she started to get a little panicky about the baby anaconda, too. Also, it is possible the male talk show hosts put on an act about freaking out? Not saying they do, or that I know they do, but it's possible. (I've never noticed if Ellen Degeneres ever has animals on her show. Guessing probably not. Maybe there's a reason for that, too.)

They're pretty easy to keep, and pretty cheap. I had a veiled chameleon for about 4 years and it was awesome. Liked to be held, ate a lot which is really fun to watch and was just so cool. If you really liked it, it would be a rewarding pet!

Most people though, have the sense to appreciate and respect it. Just look at all the likes you are getting here. This has been my own experience too. Have been through some tough times and have written a tad of it here and there when something has inspired/prompted me to do so. And have received a lot of positive response. The few dump retorts mattered little, and over time matter not at all. One ends up feeling a little sorry for them, that's all. And yes, having had it hard makes one really appreciate good stuff; joy, happiness, kindness, it being your own or other's. 💪Cheers💖

Lol I really think that Jim was scared of the snakes at first due to his reaction(s). He practically stepped back and hid behind everyone else when they brought the big anaconda out! 😂 but he literally conquered his fear of snakes right then and there on camera when he approached and decided to pet it! I never knew Jim was afraid of snakes before...
