Garth is my hero since I was 8 years old. Garth played Obamas inauguration with guitar player Keith Robinson. He gifted his signature guitar to Keith and Keith sold ME the guitar. I will have it in hand tomorrow 😱 I’d love to get Garth to sign it and give it back to Keith where it belongs. As much as I want the guitar - something that special should be with Keith. Maybe one day I can get my own gifted from Brooks.

Hey Y'all, Ms. Kelly, i enjoyed liatening to the interview. I like what Mr. Garth had to say about time. Garthquake sounds good but i dont understand how. I like what you said sbout hot dogs. In British Columbia, Canada i had the best hot dog from scratch. The meat was fresh and made in front of you and boiked ans served fresh. My grandfather made homemade saurkraught and i love it. I like what you said sbout music and emotion. I was able to find my self in others music to use as a way to express myself to other's. Kinda like on the happy days show and Potsy? Potsy, used music to learn to study for a tests, i tried this as a kid from.the show. Works. For me. I used the concept from that show since a child. When the tickets went on sale it caused the entire state to lose their phone service -- this was back in the day of landlines. So many people called in the first 30 seconds the system was overloaded and it took hours to get it back up. The next time he came to town they did it more like a lottery. So instead of blowing out the phone lines, we consumed shopping centers, etc. with lines and lines of people.

I did not say I bought RESALE tickets I bought original tickets and they cancelled the show because the Hockey team The Lightning went to finals and Garth had scheduled the show the same time , so of course since it was the arena that the Hockey team plays at they got to use it first < I never got a refund or a reschedule choice nothing . I had several friends at the hospital I worked at lost the same amount of money and they also did not get refund.. My point in the whole thing was people make Gods out of people who are Blessed with a talent to sing or act or something like that and they are just people like any of us You must like Garth ,I dont any more , we all have our privilage to speak what we feel end of story.

It’s odd that people said the exact same things when Garth hit the scene. He wasn’t “real country” either. In my opinion, good music is just good music. Not that I’m a fan of a lot being played on the radio these days because like Hardy sang in The Mockingbird and The Crow, I’m a mockingbird, singing songs that sound like other songs you’ve heard… I’m more attracted to “The Crow” artists that Hardy sings about in that song.
