I tried using Liquid Nails or something to put up a mirror frame like this... the darned thing just fell apart after a year. I'm now looking into a more hardware based approach - L-brackets and screws to hold the frame together, and then find some way to mount it to the bathroom wall.

New video coming on this, but I have a 1” drill bit and I just carve out a little from the back of the frame where the clips would be. It’ll look like a bowl in the back of the frame it sits flush over the clips. Or a flathead screwdriver and a hammer can be used to carve out the back.

Mirrors in bathrooms can be hung with cheap little mirror clips or with mirror adhesive (in the caulk aisle at the store). If you use mirror clips and want to frame the mirror, you do it the same way as the video but just carve out little holes in the back of the frame where the mirror clips are in the way.

Thinking the same thing, wonder if we can put a piece between behind the vertical piece at the top the mirror at the left and right so there will be an extra amt to screw the top piece of wood in the wall. And use a metal brace attached it to the vertical piece at the bottom to screw them into the left and right side of the wall and then find something to cover it up

I’d leave them on incase they didn’t put adhesive behind the mirror when installing. I have an updated video coming on this, but after you cut the wood to size, hold it up to your mirror and mark where the plastic clips are. Then you can notch out small craters in the back of the frame. I used a large drill bit to do some, but you can hammer a flat head screwdriver in the back or do whatever you need too to carve out a crater
