I recommend getting a spray bottle with a fine mist and putting the toner in it. I did this with my BoJ Ginseng Essence water and the mist is very refreshing. I also got a mini bottle for my purse.

Hi Kelly I like the Kaine toner but on my extremely dry rosacea and eczema prone skin it is a little bit astringent, making it something that I only use once a day and one layer of. The Round Lab dokdo is gentle and hydrating with no exfoliating activity on me either 😂. I’m using the Soon Jung toner and it’s another very lightweight thin texture suitable for very sensitive skin. I find the BofJ ginseng essence toner to be thin and lightweight on my dry skin too. For mild exfoliation and clarity I like the cosrx abc toner in the warmer months- gentle yet does keep my skin clear despite all the spf etc. Best wishes x

Kelly I’m so glad I finally got around to listening to you lol I had seen your channel here and there but never got into K beauty. Idk why but I was afraid or something. I did try the I’m From rice toner last year and I really did love it. Also the eye retinal by BOJ. However, now that I’m going to be moving to a Caribbean country where the climate is HOT all year round, these summer videos are coming in handy. I recently placed a huge order on yesstyle but unfortunately did not order any of these toners lol. I ordered the Tia’m one and the Torriden Solid In Essence as well as the Skin1004 centella ampoule and their Madagascar soothing cream. Well, I hope those are light enough! Also, a while back I had ordered the dermelect beauty serum at the recommendation of a KZbinr more focused on western products and I’m not going to lie I kind of regret it. It was EXPENSIVE and I don’t see what it has done. Can anyone recommend if there is a similar product in the Asian beauty market?

I love the dokdo toner it's hydrating, there's no other better way to hydrate your skin than the use of water - ocean water that has 70+ minerals that will surely benefit your skin in the long run, so the key is consistency here.

I agree 100%. I've found that anything I use that has "deep sea water" just makes my skin feel flooded with hydration and cools it down and just feels Amazing! The Dokdo Toner is my #1 Holy Grail! ❤

I agree with you, Kelly, on the Round Lab Dokdo toner: I've tried it and used up the bottle, I've enjoyed the hydration, but as for the exfoliating claims, they're nonsense, imo.

I noticed them in the way my skin gets nice and smooth when I go on a beach vacation, just the way the sea water seems to clarify my skin. I only noticed this effect though because I was traveling for 1.5 months and quite literally had no other toner to use, so I was forced to be consistent with it 😅 But I definitely understand not calling this an “exfoliating effect” really.

I love the CosRx Pure Fit Cica Toner all year rouns. Always soothing, calming and super lightweight. But it really hydrates my skin as well. Also love the HaruHaru Wonder Black Rice toner. I keep it in the fridge for extra cooling effect on my skin during summer.

Regarding the Dokdo toner and it not being exfoliating... I don't think the sugarcane is the reason it's being called out as having exfoliating properties. It's because it contains protease, which is the enzyme found in enzyme powder cleansers popular in Japan and Korea, which are indeed exfoliating, albeit very gentle exfoliation. All that to say, the data is there to support this being an exfoliating product, even if you personally are not experiencing anything noticeable in that regard.

I’ve been wanting to get back on my toner era but I’ve been nervous cause last time I used a exfoliation toner, i believe I damaged my skin barrier and caused more breakouts on my face. This was a few months ago. I unfortunately used it more than once or twice a week.😅 I have sensitive skin, dry with an oily t-zone, and breaking out a lot more recently But the Innisfree toner looks like it can help with my acne and also be gentle at the same time.

I have been back on a toner buying kick , I bought the Numberzine number 1 toner , Kaine Kombu toner , the ENS Sung Jung hydrating essence then I repurchase the Thank you farmer rice milk toner for my body I finished up and older bottle on my body and missed it so repurchased it for that . I still love the RNW safe me relief toner and the Etude 2 x panthenol toner . I have almost all the toners in your video but the isnfree , I just have never been impressed with that brand and it always sensitized my skin anything I have tried from them .

I still think make prem is the most hydrating of them all, nothing has changed there but yes I think they could be considered similar as far as texture, weight etc.

Kelly! I just recently added the Kaine Kombu toner into my routine a couple weeks ago after binge watching all of your videos 😅(my skin needs help!) I replaced my isntree green tea toner because I wanted something hydrating and less astringent without giving up my tea!!! Tretinoin has made me flaky and dry… I’m typically SUPER SENSITIVE and combination ❤ I am very interested in trying the Numbuzin 1 as well- maybe adding it in if it’s light enough or pairing it at night with my tretinoin for extra care! I was considering the skin1004 toning toner but now seeing the innisfree toner, I’m thinking about it instead ( it is about $12(?) more expensive for me than the skin1004 toning toner tho). May I ask your thoughts between the 2? Both about the same effectiveness? I wish skin1004 disclosed the percentage! Love the sound of the innisfree one tho ( am about to start retinal so wouldn’t actually introduce it dose at least a month from now). THANK YOU SO MUCH again ☺️

Have you tried the Benton Fermentation Galactomyces 99 Skin Toner? Idk if I've seen you talk about it. I've got that one lined up next, I'm almost done with my Cosrx Propolis Synergy Toner so I'll get to open it soon. The texture seems light so I'm hoping that it will be nice for summer time. I really want to try that Kaine toner too, maybe after this Benton one 😁

I wouldn't suggest the Anua toner if your skin is dry, it's not very hydrating for your skin type! Kaine would be the way to go!
