My skin has been very irritated and use a lot of products so I stopped all my actives and stripped my skin care down to Vanicream cleanser( never irritates my face), Klairs Hydrating water toner, thick moisturizer and squalane oil. Until my skin feels better I laying off my other skin care. When my skin feels healed I will start to add one extra product one at a time to see what is bothering my skin so much. Of course I wearing sunscreen too. When started my skin care I added some many products at one time and was not careful. Learned my lesson. Thank you for all your help. I hope this will help someone else. Don’t just put 10 things in your face without adding one at a time so you can really figure out what is helping and what is not .

Girl! You said “squalane oil” and I shot through the roof! Squalane oil is hands down my FAVORITE! You explained putting the oil on your face and your skin thanking you for it...it’s literally that! In fact, when I had a really bad face rash/hives, I only used cotton pads soaked in oatmeal water to wash my face once a day and then TO’s squalane oil to heal my skin. It’s oderless and light but moisturizing and just 💛💛💛 No matter of my routine is 15 steps or 2, straight up cold pressed squalane oil is always always always in there.

Kelly! I feel like you mentioned this a few years ago and it stuck in the back of my mind without realizing it. When the weather shifted a month ago or so, I started laying my toners. The first one is the Benton green tea toner. I love it cause it’s so calming and soft but it is just not enough hydrating for my dry skin this time of year. So then I got the Klairs unscented supple preparation toner and thought “I should do both!” And it’s awesome! Thank you for putting the hydration sand which idea in my head!

Hi Kelly Spring is my favorite season (I live in Scotland), as it's much milder without being too hot. Everything is starting to grow and it's time to get the motorbike back out lol. I love the Laneige cream skin refiner all year round. In Summer one layer boosts a lighter moisturiser and the rest of the year two or three layers really helps with dryness. I have severely dry, rosacea and eczema prone skin and this product doesn't sting even during a flare. I'm currently using the Isntree tw bifida serum which is really hydrating/calming on my skin and is similar in texture to the Klairs fundamental serum I used last Winter. It's full of fermented ingredients and pro biotics which helps with my moisture barrier. I'm also enjoying the cosrx propolis toner and snail essence. I used the illyoon as my daycream last Winter and liked it, but I have an old fave on the go just now - the FAB ultra repair cream. It sits well under the purito unscented centella spf surprisingly and is keeping my skin moisturised during the day. Another fave for really dry skin is the Pyunkang Yul intense cream and I loved it last Winter (it's thick and occlusive). I will try the Olivarrier cream shown as that texture is calling to my dry skin lol. I like that Klairs sheet mask, but for irritated wind burned skin the Benton centella sheet mask is a real fave. Best wishes.

Hi Kelly!! Thanks a lot for this video!! I also use the cotton mask... I use the pyunkang yul essence toner together with their cottons as well!! It works so well for my sensitive skin in a dry, cold climate. It fades my redness like anything else (it is working better than the mugwort essence... surprisingly). Have a great Weekend and keep on working on your brilliant channel!!

Great video Kelly. I have been using the isntree HA toner plus and I love it. I like the consistency and how it feels on my skin. I have recently started using the Purito unscented centella cream which I find a bit thicker than the Purito deep sea pure water cream. I agree with you on the CeraVe moisturising cream for the body. It’s lovely and thick and has helped me with my dry skin. I also use the hydrating cleanser and the SA cleanser from CeraVe. Keep up the good work and stay safe

I just started doing my skincare routine when I started watching this video and I was literally applying a mixture of the Keep Cool and Soothe Bamboo with the Isntree Hyaluronic Acid Plus Toner! 😍 I know I should do the thinnest one first but couldn't be bothered today tbh 😇 I followed the toner up with the Benton Green Tea Serum (and the TIA'M Vita B3 Source on the forehead), the Klairs Eye Gel, a thin layer of the Olivarrier Comfort cream with a couple extra drops of squalane oil and finally, the PURITO Unscented Sun of course! Eczema prone skin is feeling nourished and happy! My favourite season is summer, because in summer I have the most opportunities to meet up with my friends and everyone in Belgium is A LOT friendlier when the sun is out! 😄

For me the first ingredient I'd look for for helping to calm the skin is mugwort extract. Beauty of Joseon green tea serum is a good morning serum, packed with antioxidants, and has mugwort. Or you could go for I'm From Mugwort Essence. And I think isntree or innisfree (i can never remember which) has a mugwort line. Other ingredients I'd go for are chamomile and cucumber. Isntree aloe soothing gel fresh (licorice, centella, cucumber, chamomile, aloe, a bit sticky) and Benton aloe propolis gel (chamomile, cucumber, aloe, propolis, more reviews) are two moisturizers that have those ingredients. If your skin doesn't like aloe then I'd go for the Isntree one instead of the Benton one. I hope this helps!

It’s so frustrating but I am going to try your recommendations. Looove your channel, Kelly. If you have the time/desire, I have a desperate video request for you: I'm a new tretinoin (+niacinamide) user and tolerating it very well thus far, but I'd really like to up my moisture barrier care game as we move into the colder months and incorporate more products that will protect my skin. I so want to include something like Liquid Gold or Barrier Relief into my regimen but I'm one of those poor unfortunate souls whose skin can't tolerate topical hyaluronic acid in any form (believe it or not, there are many of us!), or at least in any of the formulations I've tried (CerAve, Cosrx, TO, Timeless, among many others). My skin starts to sting, inflame, and break out within minutes. I tend to just stick to the LRP Toleriane line because it's so inert and more importantly, HA free, but unfortunately, it's also ceramide free. In addition to skin barrier building, there are a few kinds of serums I'd love to add in to the mix once I'm past the 3-month mark on tret that I know would greatly benefit my early-30's skin (like Vitamin C, Peptides/Matrixyl, etc), but all the most highly rated/suggested formulations are loaded with different variations of HA. If you could suggest a few awesome HA-free alternatives to some of your fave products, I would be EVER so grateful.

When I was living in Bulgaria my favourite seasons were autumn and the beginning of spring (so grey and rainy and not v warm) because in winter it’d drop to -25°C and I like cold weather, but I also like to feel my limbs when I go buy groceries. Now that I’m back in the north of Spain I like autumn, the beginning of spring and winter too, although it might be because I get a lot of daylight hours in Spain regardless or the time of year, almost 10 right now in November. I’m sorry, I don’t like summer, I have a sun allergy, so that’s fun when it’s sunny every day for three months and the hot weather makes me cranky. I might be a monster? A vampire? I took your “hydration sandwich” technique and ran with it and now it’s a full blown 7 skin layer thing with different weight toners (I also had a few toners open already, I didn’t go out an buy 7 brand new toners). One thing I’ve found “makes me” do sheet masks is using them as kind of a reward for the weekend; I’m doing a course that’s 12h a day Monday to Friday and then on Saturdays I have a 3h exam and the correction class so after my class is done I wash my face get my mum we slap on a sheet mask and watch some CSI. It sounds a bit weird that I have to schedule sheet masks but it helps. Love the illiyoon and love the PKY ato blue, I’m using the last one because I think the illiyoon feels slightly lighter and it might be better for spring and maybe as a night cream in summer. I love face oils, I went “green beauty” crazy for a while when my face was effed up so I only used high quality aloe Vera gel and rose hip oil (and spf and a double cleanse) and it really carried me to a point when using actual formulated skincare products did not want to make me cry. I actually own the same face oils you do and I like Marula for nighttime (chia seed is also really great my mum loves that and tamanu) squalene during the day if needed and rosehip whenever but I tend to mix them in with my moisturisers. I’ve also noticed that they improve my skin texture? I have less tiny bumps and when I get a pimple it’ll be coming through in the morning, ready to gently pop at nighttime and scabbed over the morning after. Love this witchcraft.

I may have missed it, but where in your routine would you insert a facial oil? I use squalane the same night I exfoliate, but the Naturium one I use specifies to use after all treatments and before heavy moisturizers, but I've heard facial oils go after moisturizer? Which is it? I prefer the former, literally just because dog hair will stick to my face if I go to bed with an oily face 🤣

Have u seen the scinic FTE plus essense it actually looks really nice it alittle more at like 20 instead of 16$ but I think I'm gonna order to see how it compares to others and the sk11 because let's be honest I'm in love with SK11 and it was by accident I didn't have high hopes thought it was like the rest but been using it every morning and night since beginning of may and saw really amazing results I didn't think was possible from something like that. Luckly I got it for free cause I got 2 onces gwo they messed up my orders 3 times so I got another sk11 Gwo so I got like 100$ of sk11 for free and I'm sold on it. I realize if ur hoarding it ur not gonna get the full results next time u get it use it daily and see the results are amazing. I am also super sad they changed the primera lotus essence and I saw they have a different primera essense I was looking at. I am so sick of them changing formulas that are amazing charging the same and watering them down and taken out the good effective ingredients same with the isntree bifida and the FAB hydrating serum and toner and lots of other products. I was wondering if I should get the WT polyfenals proplolis serum.i still haven't tried or the essence that is suppose to match up with it , I use the cosrx proplolis toner but I didn't like the cosrx proplolis light serum but I also was thinking of skinfold in winter. I just got the noid survival 0 and the gluecomine serum girl idk I got a glitch or something and got it for 12$ I went to get another for that price and it was back to like 36 they fixed it well atleast I got one to try. Have u tried Zealsea 10% azalaic acid cream yet I thought about trying it , it was onsake for 14$ from 34 . I want to try the purito oil I hate heavy oil even know my skin is alittle on the dryer side also ordered the Dr C vita K serum so good toner pads I been threw 3 jars I want to try the 107 Chaga wash and drizzle toner but I see the Chaga has beragmont I wonder if it will bother me I am allergic but it doesn't bother me in farmacy cleansing balm and a few other things maybe so little in their or the formulation. I also order the number one 3 serum iope bio essense and a few more things I went on a half sleep buy spree also want the goodlight cleanser , I really need a few good cleanser running low. Got the JJ labs copper peptides and egf serum Dermtlgy needle less and Lord Jones CBD cream for winter cold nights or if I over do ret or exfoliating.
