Hi Kelly the Benton centella rescue sheet mask is a great product for calming a bout of irritation/redness. My skin is both rosacea and eczema prone so this is really soothing. I also like the Klairs soothing mask if I don't have the Benton one to hand. Otherwise I like the cosrx propolis toner and the LRP toleraine serum and creams. For me some of the French pharmacy ranges are stars during a flare including the toleraine products and the Avene cicalfate range. My skin stings during a flare and even the laneige can sting (although I love it normally). I try to keep it really basic during an acute bout of irritation/flare of eczema or rosacea. The Avene zerocalm cleanser is a great oily cleanser that emulsifies and rinses cleanly, with a very minimal ingredient list. i like the Purito and Klairs oil cleanser normally, but they have a more complex formulation and I use the most minimum of ingredients possible during a flare. I appreciate a lot of these are not k beauty, but comfort food as you said is for long term staples that never disappoint. Best wishes.

Perfect timing for this video. I tried The Ordinary's Glycolic Acid 7% toning solution 2 nights ago and I have super small bumps all over my cheeks, redness, but worst of all my neck and wrists are covered in these hive-like very itchy red splotches and my face is itchy too. I've learned based on your other videos too that I'm sensitive to AHA's like you and they don't agree with my skin. At the start of quarantine when I started my skincare journey I stupidly used Ole Henriksen's Balance line and used both products daily as directed and the cleanser had AHA and the toner was an AHA/BHA. Imagine ALL THAT EXFOLIATION TWICE A DAY. I kept it going cause I thought I was just purging, nope, horrible breakouts that have taken me till now to fix and focus on my moisture barrier. I get so mad at these companies that give bad directions or directions for products that are definitely not one size fits all like chemical exfoliants.

I’d be curious to know if you have ever experienced with colloidal oatmeal to soothe iterated skin. I know Aveeno and First Aid Beauty both use that ingredient. I haven’t ever seen an Aveeno product that’s interested me, but First Aid Beauty has a toner with colloidal oatmeal as the start ingredient
@stefanieparedes7584 жыл бұрын
I’ve tried both these products. I prefer the Aveeno eczema face cream with colloidal oatmeal it’s more soothing, hydrating and spreads more nicely imo. The FAB I’ve tried both the moisturizer and the intensive cream and they aren’t as hydrating. I also don’t like the scent and it doesn’t spread as elegantly as the aveeno. I’ve always wanted to try that toner though!

I can't believe you touched the dropper to your face🙈. It's so unhygienic cause you basically introduce any dirt, bacteria, or dead skin cells from your face into the product solution.
@amandabangan57214 жыл бұрын
There's enough preservatives to help keep the product from getting spoiled from invaders (bacterias and and what not). Plus, skincare company went thru alot of quality tests (tested the products' durability from any kind of invaders or harsh conditions like temperature) before it's released to the market so there is no worry on this kinda stuff.
@senator54724 жыл бұрын
@@amandabangan5721 Actually there's not. Just ask any dermatologist or skincare formulator - preservatives in skincare are to prevent bacteria from entering into or multiplying within the product but even these preservatives can't help if you DIRECTLY and REGULARLY introduce all kinds of gross stuff into the solution. Plus, it's really not that hard to release the dropper's contents onto your palms first.
