I kind of switched from tretinoin to the Beauty of Joseon Retinal cream because the intense flaking from tretinoin just never went away even after years and that looks horrid under makeup. This retinal cream is still so potent that if I use it every day my skin may still peel a little. I highly recommend it! It also has ceramides

A few of Mederma products have onion bulb extract, including my absolute favorite Mederma PM which is what I used to speed up the healing of my acne scars. I'm acne-prone, but I don't have oily skin. Going to give the Purple Protector a try, along with some other onion-based products from IsNtree.

If you're using k beauty and breaking out no matter what you use, see if it's BUTYENE GLYCOL. It's in most k beauty products. I've been breaking out the worse in my life for the past year while exploring k beauty. Just cutting out that ingredient for a week has helped my skin! Now my skin is back to normal!

sooooooooooo cassandra , as you know i absolutely love what you do and you helped my skin very much but i have to say, i used your SPF and omg i can't believe i'm going to say this but i find it verrrrrrrrrrrry intense on my skin, kinda stings and burns a little bit... i tried it a couple of times so i was sure my skin had to tollerate it ... but nope still the same story, usualy i use the beauty of joseon and that works very well, so sad, cause i really hoped i could use this one in my routine, i will use it on my body so i wont waste it!!

Pyunkang Yul low pH pore deep cleansing foam is also very good! I've been using retinoids, different types of acids, different cleansers and nothing brought me results as fast as this foam. I've never believed that a simple cleanser can make such a difference while being non irritating and not drying out my skin like typical salicylic acid or other acne-targeted cleansers tend to do. I haven't tried their foam that you've talked about tho so I think I'll try that as well, but for now the low pH one is working WONDERS!!

I have recently bought the purple sunscreen however it does sting my eyes a lot and it feels oily on my skin. I use a little bit of powder after I apply it to reduce the oily feel. Is it not suitable for me. I have acne and oily skin. Please advise.

Is texture bad! My MIL always taunt me for that. I also had acne before Marriage like you had, & . but now i got 1/2 hormonal acne before my periods.my skin has same texture like yours because of my past acne journey. At 1-3% to avoid irritation but lactic and mandelic acids are best!

Hi Cassandra, love to see the BoJ eyecream! It is my retinoid of choice to use when I finish my tretinoin prescription and I don't have a doctor appointment soon, I was wondering if I made the right choice. While I used to have breakouts - much less now that I have a good routine - I mostly use it to prevent lines, help with discoloration etc...do you think it is less or more strong than the Inkey List 1% retinol solution? My face skin is not sensitive at all, I use my 0.05% tretinoin with no issue even around the eyes, so I would really like to go as strong as possible...
