that entirely different kind of seaweed. what you show in this video is wakame, not kombu

You can also tie thick slices into knots, which pick up sauces or can be handled more easily. And some of us don't think seaweed is strong-tasting. That's mostly with people who aren't accustomed to the flavor.

Isnt that kelp? Kombu in its non dry form is darker in color and usually a bit thicker
