Just want to say to Kelsey and/or anyone who has not done the genetic testing out of fear, I was in the same boat and prolonged doing the test until 10 years after my Dad died from colon cancer. I just did the test last year and thankfully do not carry the gene, but the testing will show you all types of things to look out for and will shine light on areas of your health to pay attention to, even if you don’t possess the same cancerous gene. I know it’s terrifying but do it scared.
