@@TONEWARSgearshow This is the comment I was looking for!! I run the helix rack in my full rig at my practice space, since I need the 4 fx loops. Really looking forward to the shootout with the Helix....Sweetwater is currently out of these, so my order us waiting at the moment..... I'm curious if when you use your kempers if you utilize all the effects in the unit itself or do you find yourself needing to use some pedals for a fx that the Kemper simply doesn't have a good facsimile of
@TONEWARSgearshow5 жыл бұрын
Yo Todd, good to hear from you. The FX in the Kemper are stellar. EXCEPT FOR the OD pedals. The Kemper version of the green scream is good but my Precision drive pedal blows it away. Hopefully they will update the overdrive pedals soon. So far, I found that exterior overdrive pedals are better. That's the only spot where Kemper lacks if you ask me.

@Deuterium2H5 жыл бұрын
Felipe, you may have not understood previous replies/answers. Please be advised that EVERY Kemper ships from the factory already preloaded with hundreds of factory profiles. Many of these are profiles made by famous 3rd-party commercial profile producers, such as Michael Britt. Futhermore, you absolutely SHOULD have a spare USB thumbdrive, which is used to backup your Kemper. Your Kemper can also be backed up to to your PC, via the Kemper Rig Manager sofware. Nevertheless, having a physical USB thumbdrive, as an additional backup media, is good practice and a no brainer.

@@Deuterium2H thank you so much for your long anwser. I now have an Idea what kemper realy about is. I have real pedals and amps and effects. I have also a Helix stomp and I can say the real thing is so much better. I know kemper is the best out there. But if I buy one I have to buy also speakers. Sometimes I wake in the night ans think what I should do. I am a beginner and I have already spend a lot of money in pedals and amps and... thank you one more time
@Deuterium2H5 жыл бұрын
@@felipegomabrockmann2740 Hello Felipe, no problem, glad to help. Keep in mind that the Kemper can be hooked up into the FX Return of your tube amp. I assume you either have an amp head, or a combo. In either case, you would also have a guitar cabinet/speaker. It you have a combo amp, it has the speaker built in (obviously). So, you don't require additional monitors or speakers, unless you want an FRFR system. So, to recap, you would hook the monitor output of the Kemper Stage into the FX Return of either your tube amp head, or combo amp. If it is a head, you would already be connected from the speaker output of your amp head to a speaker cabinet. When using the Kemper in this configuration, you would disable the Cabinet Module (cabinet profiles/sims) on the Kemper, because you do not want to have an active Cabinet sim as part of the output signal, when running into a traditional guitar speaker/cab. Cheers, John
