2021 and all the folks complaining about the screen know now that actually the kemper stage has the best screen between all units in the market. With the wifi module and the app for tablets you have a touch screen right in your hands. You can even choose the resolution of your screen, the size, the OS.

The stage is not powered so you would need a power amp also. There is a powered version of the Kemper but it is only available as a Toaster or a Rack.

I never played a Kemper but very curious... (own AxeFX 2 and both Helix's...). Maybe this floor option will convince me but not sure yet. Of course the main importance in getting this is and if the tones are worth the purchase? I am sure it is. I just got to try one for myself within my "control environment". Thanks for posting!

The main tweak live for me is to adjust rig volume and in the dark the lights around the rotary show me on stage how much change I am applying then a quick store, sorted. No rig volume lit rotary...hmm.

next thing needs to be a box the size and competing price of the hx stomp. remove being able to profile with it so it's just a profile loader meant to be put on a pedalboard.

One of the MOST appealing draws to the Kemper is the simplicity. There’s not confusing set of products to choose from. This covers all bases from Kemper. The sky is the limit now. Seek better and better tones and just buy one and go.

I am eyeing buying a Kemper, but never really used one before (I do have a Helix). I still have to debate whether I'd use it as an amp with my existing pedalboard or not. But the question is: is the normal Toaster a bit easier to learn on? Or are the differences that small? Thanks!

They mentioned it in another video, that it can "double" all signals to another Kemper. So basically you can use KPS + KPA (like two amps) and control both with Stage.

Great video and of course it sounds world class! But, I'm praying for a Kemper unit that just uses downloaded profiles with a price point like the HX Stomp. With the tens of thousands of amazing available profiles, I'm certain there's an entire market begging for a profile download only unit. What's your take on that?

Looks pretty good but that screen is about 20 years out of date. I doubt anyone would've minded having a slightly bigger unit to allow for a screen and system like the helix or head rush for example. Ok it's probably not meant for on the fly adjustments but it's a big turn off for me

Perhaps someone could enlighten me why this would be better than my current tube amp and pedal setup? Right now I use a vox ac30 head and cab (2×12 with the blue speakers) in it that cost me 900 used (in Australia), with a boss ms-5 That allows me to have my favourite dual overdrive plugged into 2 of the available 3 loops and I combine these with the built in fx of the boss. The ms-5 was only about 500-600 (Australian) brand new. This setup sounds awesome, and I have it on a really small pedalboard that also has a boss tu-3 tuner which my acoustic goes through and out into the pa. This setup is so simple and sounds amazing and all up cost me under 2000 Australian. This Kemper is almost 3000 Australian and then I'd need to buy speakers at around 1000 per speaker. Why would I ditch my current setup and go this road? Just curious....... At this point my feeling is if it ain't broke don't fix it. But what is the real advantage of the huge layout to go this route?

@@moskitoh2651 i have to disagree, the helix seems much better structured, and every preset is named on an lcd along the stomps, also it looks easier to access different functions on the helix. im just saying that after so many years, kemper has alot of room for improvement. and yes, i have to use two fingers to zoom on a phone, but hey.. it has a touchscreen and actual colours #looksnicer. no fanboy of either, just was really hoping for a refreshed kemper unit, so was kinda dissapointed by this release.
