Ken Block Attempts an 8th Win at The Rally in The 100 Acre Wood

Ken Block returns to The Rally in the 100 Acre Wood in an attempt to capture his 8th win at the event. In this race we see Ken piloting a Skoda Fabia R5+, set up for the ARA's 04WD class. With very little seat time in this unfamiliar chassis, he faces stiff competition by the likes of Travis Pastrana piloting his factory backed Subaru WRX STI and Barry McKenna in a Ford Fiesta WRC.

Recently started watching Ken because my 3year old autistic son Colton LOVES the cars and loves watching them jump and hit the water. Super glad we found him. Thanks Mr. Block for being awesome. Side note - I believe my sons favorite shot is on pikes peak with the heli flying over the car lmao he lost it “CAR, FLY,CAR, FLY” it was beautiful.

This video is living proof that in the right hands even the underdog car can be competitive. This to me is the true definition of a driver. Someone seasoned enough and seen enough that all they need is their driving skill and tuning experience. It's not how fast you drive, it's how you drive fast.

Fabia R5 underdog??! Fabia has won several wrc2 titles, won the International Rally Challenge series and has long been considered the best R5 car ahead of the Fiesta and other rally cars.

That sucks that it's an early season rally for you guys cause it could be different later in the year. I really hope there's spectators this year at the rally closest to me, STPR. I got to see Oliver Solberg beat Higgens and McKenna there in 2019 and it was great.

It is basically a cheaper and a bit more reliable (in my opinion) Volkswagen, you aren't missing much apart from the bodywork :) I had the mk1 Fabia 1.2 HTP 12v and the mk2 Fabia 1.4 TDI (80hp) They are good fun even if they aren't that fast
