What a miracle! Im so happy that little boy is doing so well. It sounds like many, going forward, will reap the benefits of his surgeries. My husband went to Duke University and his father went to Wake Forest. They were from Dunn, NC. His daughter and grandchildren went on to go to Duke University. He was very proud of that.

We went to the 75th Anniversary; the hubs worked for Duke at that time. They do put on a great event. Definitely not a Duke fan (except when they play Carolina and Clemson....ha ha) but I'm living off a Duke retirement, so I'll not complain too much!!!!

Leslie,this is absolutely amazing! Certainly that this little fellow got the surgery and medical care he needed and that you and Bryant were included in this celebration. I knew about the story of Easton. It was in one of the newsletters I receive from Duke. I am a cancer survivor and Duke patient and receive magazines & emails from them about medical breakthroughs, etc. I didn't know this dear family is part of your church. God is so good. Incredible for that young, young boy to be a medical miracle. Oh my....a medical word was misspelled on one of the screens 🤔. Was it computer generated? The thymus gland becomes inactive prior to adulthood, yes I knew what it was, worked in medical field, heard of a thymectomy but not a transplant!
