Sadly nobody wants to talk about this great connection that as a 59 year old i had the privilege of seeing over and over, Snake to Ghost! Of course we live in a world now where fans think that the NFL started with Tom Brady to Gronk and Mahomes to Kelce. Casper and Todd Christiansen were my guys.

Al always had great TE and more than just Casper. Hard to say what kind of numbers Raymond Chester could have put up if Casper hadn't been on that team.

My all time favorite TEs are Casper, Bavarro and Gronk. Different eras, but all tough, hard nosed team first players who, even if they did not catch a single pass, would still have massive impacts on a game.

I agree 100%. I've been saying for years tight ends need to block not just be big wide receivers. Bavaro and Gronk along with the ghost of the greatest ever
