Alright,ken actually my first 'internet vocal coach' that i followed.because i don't know better.i follow him since around 2018.never bought his course because it's so expensive so i just watch his channel.i become more serious on learn how to sing when covid kick in in 2019.well because i have nothing to do. After 2 years practicing what he preaching i got a conclusion that his technique for me its working but with cost of my stamina and make me become so tired,and if i'm lucky i don't get vocal injury.i oberve most all high range singer didn't sing as heavy as he does .idk why he always try to make it so heavy,meanwhile the original singer sing it more laid back and don't get me wrong when they go hard they go hard.but not all become heavy like he does.quote and quote 'manly voice' that he preaching is really something need to be question.because if we talk about 2 hour singing,with high range song i don't think people would last if using technique that he teach.i am 29,i do cardio running etc shouldn't be problem when it came to stamina.But i do feel so tired or atleast my head wanna explode after sing 'man in the box' using his technique.one song and i feel so tired. What if i need to sing 2 hours?i would be dead.

That Storytime - Nightwish cover he did was so much worse than I thought it’d be. The song vocally relies so much on carefully crafted dynamics that our favorite tampon completely ignores, opting to poorly glam metal belt everything, adding a drawn out same note belt between the first verse and chorus that serves no purpose other than “showing off,” and overall sounding constipated the entire song. Floor and Anette would die on the inside listening to this knowing it’s coming from a supposed vocal coach

THIS right here is my biggest issue with Ken and why I support everyone who ruthlessly mocks this clown. A bad guitar teacher might result in having to unlearn some bad muscle memory, but a bad vocal instructor can result in permanent damage. In my opinion I think terms like “vocal coach” and “vocal instructor” should be legally protected titles the way terms like “lawyer” and “medical doctor” are. You should be required to have either a formal degree in vocal pedagogy or acquire some kind of certification in order to be allowed to call yourself that.
